Palazzo Alfani was perfect, a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, local hints and restaurant recommendations. We had a huge apartment, with separate bedroom with afresco ceiling, lovely shower and bathroom, and really well equipped kitchen and living area with enough basic essentials to get you started. we were there for 4 nights for my wife birthday and totally enjoyed our stay there. The apartment was great . Great location as it is very central and within walking distance to many tourists attraction. Right opposite to LE ACADEMIA , Francesca was wonderful and helpful in every way. we will strongly recommend Palazzo Alfani al David and we are already planning on our next trip to Florence and intend to stay there again

The decor - the "watch" theme of the hotel was very well executed and permeated all aspects of design, even down to the taps and mirrors.
The location is ideal - a few minutes walk down the interesting streets and alley of central Florence.
The room was cosy, the bed & linen first class.

Claudio, Roberta and Sylvia were amazing, they recommended exceptional restaurants, organized tours and taxis and guided you to the must see sites. Albena! She was so wonderful to us! We arrived earlier than the stated check-in time, we had planned to just drop our bags and come back later. She said since our room was not ready (I didn't expect it to be) that we could have a different, larger room. It was a wonderful surprise! The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! In most cases when I've asked a hotel for a double bed when we've arrived we got a different room; this is the first hotel in a long time where we had the double bed we asked for! The location is fantastic and you can hardly hear the noise on the street.

Nothing was too much bother for Angelo and his wonderfully attentive staff. This was a two night stay and we were able to get the 36 bus from the station in floence to via volterrana, galluzo and walk from the church to la fatterossa.
