Palazzo Alfani was perfect, a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, local hints and restaurant recommendations. we were there for 4 nights for my wife birthday and totally enjoyed our stay there. The apartment was great . Great location as it is very central and within walking distance to many tourists attraction. Right opposite to LE ACADEMIA , Francesca was wonderful and helpful in every way. we will strongly recommend Palazzo Alfani al David and we are already planning on our next trip to Florence and intend to stay there again

The strongest points of this hotel are the owners/staff and the
location, and there are quite a few other nice things about it.
Luciana and Luciano, the brother and sister who own/run(?) the place, are lovely, lovely people, kind and most helpful. They're also very quick to respond to emails.
The location is great, if a bit hard to find (if you're relying on GoogleMaps, that is -- get a REAL map!). It's a few meters away from Piazza di Signoria (which is right next to the Galleria Uffizi) and

It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good. On top of the excellent location, friendly and helpful owners, and great price, the beds here were easily the most comfortable we found throughout our Italian travels. There is a laundromat just across the street, making this a great place to stay if you are in the middle of a long journey. If you stay here, be sure to eat at Vivanda, which is on the same street: top-notch organic cuisine.
