Everything is perfect at this nice little hotel! The rooms are big, with nice (though pretty small) bathroom, air condition works fine. Tea and instant coffee in the room, coffee machine with very good coffee for just 0.50 euros at the reception! Oh, and they also have water for the same price. The location is in the very center with a couple good bars to have breakfast, close to everything! And the driving directions to the hotel helped us a lot! For those who arrive by car there's a garage ju.
all reviews » The very nice location. There is only 5-10 minute walk to train station, to main sightseeing places, such as Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Uffizi gallery. There are a lot of different shops nearby. The B&B is locatef in living house, you feel yourself as a local having own keys and coming when you want. The host of this B&B is very hospitable. The room is quite large, the decoration is simple, but nice. You have everything you need. Free wi-fi. So it is good value for that price. Best location, it takes about 5 minutes by walk to Main train station and 3 minutes to Duomo. I absolutely love this hotel, very convinient and easy to access anywhere in Florence. The room is spaces, clean and comfortable. Only some noice in the night time as it located in a heart of city but you were too tired to care about this noise. Staff are so helpful, they assist me to book a train to Milan without any charge and find me the best price too. Thank you to both ladies. Really lovely room in ancient building. Also room is small, nothing to place down your suitcases. That we have to leave Battistero. No breakfast, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around, supermarkets as well. The heater did not work very well and sometimes it was really cold. There is a parquet floor which was cold too. I guess in summer this is no problem. The reason why i voted "good" for comfort was the fact that I travelled in winter. I didn't like the fact that breakfast was not included. But it is mentioned in the info before booking the hotel. So, it doesn't consist of a genuine problem. Nothing. Bathroom was a bit run down. The bathroom has a little problem, but it is ok, and it is a little difficult to find the hotel. No breakfast. I highly recommend this place since it was more than we expected!. Our room had an internal bathroom with poor ventilation, it was kept well cleaned however due to the lack of air, it was damp which lead to the tiles etc looking rather grimy. Just a little confussing to find at first but we did find it all was good in the end. Nothing to dislike. Nothing. No English channels on television. Nothing!.
