We were guests for several nights in October. The hotel's location to many of Florence's sites is fantastic. Our room was well appointed and more than adequate for our needs. The staff were friendly and committed to ensuring a pleasurable trip for all guests.

The hotel occupies the three floors above the street level entry door. Some guests may have problems negotiating the hotel's narrow stairs. It should be noted that a small lift is available for all guests and their luggage.

The owners were so very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful and comfortable and the location was amazing! A+++ I would stay here again in a moment!

The hotel is small, but lovely and the staff are very kind and helpful. You can't beat the location--so close to many of the main attractions of Florence. Due to road closures because of flooding in our area of the USA, we missed our flight to Florence and arrived 2 days late. We expected to be charged for all 3 nights we had reserved, but were not! Our room was ready when we arrived and they even served us breakfast. Our expectations were definitely exceeded! The breakfast was the best we had while in Italy.

The many stairs one must climb from the street. There are some people who simply can't stay here because of this, and that is unfortunate. We had a little trouble finding the entrance to the hotel. The taxi dropped us off at the right spot but the door was locked and we weren't sure we were at the right place. We asked at a local cafe, they called the hotel for us and someone came right out to meet us and help us with our luggage.

Fantastic service, location and general value for money. Staff could not have been more helpful and you will not find a better location.

Only criticism would be the noise from outside at night. If you're affected by this take ear plugs. Only a problem if very sensitive.

This was a super hotel in an awesome location for Florence. The rooms were large by European standards and beautiful. Very clean, quiet, comfortable and well priced. The manager of the day, Sebastian, was beyond helpful and even came to get us when we got lost driving in Florence - so the service was above excellent service. Also the breakfasts were super and were very complete with eggs, bacon, fruit and breads. I absolutely would stay there again!

The rooms were up a couple flights of stairs which really wouldn't havce been a probelm except that my wife hurt her knee a few days before we left - nonetheless a small elevator was available if she needed it. The only real complaint in a wonderful experience was that the internet connection only worked in the hallways and not in the rooms - nonetheless this hotel is a great little secret.

Staff went out of their way to accommodate any request. Rooms are lovely and give the sense that they are Renaissance period. Location is exceptional. Breakfast was excellent. Other guests were nice and friendly and polite.

incredible location in the centre of Florence, our room (Michelangelo) overlooked the piazza and was still very quiet. The room itself was great, great bed, large room and nice bathroom. Highly recommended

The staff were very helpful. They assisted us in planning a side trip and made dinner reservations for us, as well. Our room and view were amazing. The family style breakfast service was a nice change in pace. We met many friendly fellow travelers from all over the world.

It was noisy at night if you left the windows open. Better to close windows and turn the air conditioner on.
