We stayed here for 3 nights during our Europe trip. The walk from the
Termini is about 30 minutes but it gives you a great way to learn the
city layout. Once you are there though you won’t need to train station
as all the major sights are within walking distance from the B&B.
The directions to the B&B were promptly provided upon booking and
the buses were frequent to the accommodation. The location of the
B&B is ideal as you are so close to the heart of it all but far
enough away fo. all reviews »
Great location - just approx 10 mins walk from city centre Rooms are
nice and clean Extremely nice and helpful staff - owner gave us many
tips where to park, eat, what to see etc Even if in our proposal there
was no mealplan, we got very nice breakfast served in the beautiful
garden You see how it looks when someone enjoys their work - and you
feel very comfortable I really appreciated the fact that the owner run
to catch me on the street to give me my special water bottle I left in
the room in.
The hosts are wonderful and the rooms are simple yet comfortable, with
everything you might need. The location just outside the ztl was also
perfect for us, as we drove into Florence but wanted to be able to park
our car and walk everywhere once there. Our room was on the ground floor
facing the street, so it got a little noisy in the morning, but not too
bad. Breakfast in the garden is a nice bonus. We also really enjoyed
talking with Sandra. It's clear that she loves Florence, and she can
giv.
Our hosts Sandra and Giovanni made us feel like we were home in another country. Sandra speaks English and told us everything we needed to know, places to go etc. It is a perfect B&B a short walk into the city and main attractions. We were given an upgraded room for the same price as they had the room spare. Orti di Cimabue was our favorite place to stay in Italy while we were here.

The guesthouse is located among numerous local restaurants serving the finest Tuscan fayre - an advantage of being slightly away from the tourist trail.
The guesthouse was a twenty minute walk away from the Duomo so well placed for exploring the main attractions.
We had a great time at this beautiful B&B, thanks to Sandra and Giovanni, the owners, who were very welcoming and gave us a lot of useful tips about the treasures this wonderful city has to offer. Our room was very nice and comfortable, very clean, and had a lovely view to the garden. We would definitely recommend this B&B!!.
This hotel is incredible. The hosts are extremely warm and helpful. This place felt like home for us. They helped us with every detail in planning our trip around Florence. Location is a 15minute walk to most attractions. Breakfast is served in room. Perfect place to spend a few nights in Florence. Highly recommended.
We received a lovely warm welcome at Orti de Cimabue; the owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The location is great - just outside the city walls, and breakfast on the terrace in the tranquil garden is a really nice touch. Great place to stay for a city break to Florence.
Sandra the owner is friendly, helpful and responsive. Fantastic local shopping and restaurants, a few hundred metres off the beaten tourist track, enhance the experience. Facilities and ambience at Orti di Ciambue were perfect. Feels like home away from home!.
Wonderful hosts. The garden view room was clean and spacious. The b&b is 10 minutes away from the tourist centre so quiet and peaceful.

Really nothing except parking which might be little challenging but
there are easy options nearby - where you can always park your car
(underground parking for 1.7 e/h) even if parking on the street is
cheaper and you can be offered by card which provides you some discount.

B&b isn't cheap but still great value for the room and service offered.
In the "street side room" (of course cheaper) you can hear every scooter passing by of the front of the window. And the phone calls in the room just beside. But if you sleep deep. it's not a big deal.
