La Farina is a lovely place to stay at while on vacation in Florence. Staff is helpful, welcoming, and multilingual. The apartments are in close proximity to the metro station and staff will gladly call you a cab/taxi - that arrives within 3 minutes guaranteed - if you need to go to a site that requires access by taxi/cab. We were given the best advice for making the most our vacation in Florence, including recommendations for the best sights and the place to have a truly Tuscan meal, the Ta.
all reviews » I really liked the space and the facilities, especially the laundromat (paid) and car park (free). The apartment was well furnished and was extremely comfortable for us. It was also in a safe neighborhood, though it's not very near the city central (approximately 15-20mins walk to most locations). The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It's clearly states that check-in ends at 7pm, however due to some delays on the roads, we only managed to reach by 715pm, but they waited for us anyway. Responses to inquiries was prompt and helpful (10/10), Clean apartment (10/10), all facility a family can look for where Kitchen is must (10/10), extra rooms for storing belongings and luggage (10/10), there was a bottle of wine gift from the owner waiting on my arrival. I was touched (10/10), Kitchen if fully equipped (10/10). These are my personal ranking. I will recommend people to stay in this apartment as it is new, clean and management is very cooperative. they will respond you and help . The apartment was truly fantastic: stylish, well-equipped, practical, well located, etc. We got all the help we needed from the very friendly and competent staff. One of the perks of this business is they recently started a bike rental - one of the 'musts' when you visit Florence is to take a bike tour around the city - which is really convenient. Will definitely recommend it to our friends (and to you too). Apartment was extremely nice for the amount we paid. Ricardo was very accommodating and friendly. It's a bit of a walk to the historic district, but we didn't mind. There is a local restaurant nearby and grocery store. Apartment was two levels and provided enough space for my parents and I. Being an apartment, it gave us a homely feeling. The apartment was huge (2 floors) and was clean as. Very close to the city shopping area, it also has a private car park below the building. Friendly staff who gave us directions and a map to all the sights.Shop around the corner for groceries. This apartment was fantastic, top notch furnishings, modern, comfortable, spotlessly clean. It is located a bit further out from the city centre which is perfect if you have a car (as you don't want to be driving in central florence) or if you want something of a very high standard without the very high price! Like? I loved the La Farina Apartments. They were in a safe clean area, 600 metre from the train and walking distance to Michaelangelo's David, The Circus Cafe and the best Restaurants. The owners were helpful, the apartment spacious, with aircon,wifi. I will stay for a week next time. The apartment is modern, ample and well located, it has free parking and is at walking distance to all the key turistic places in Florence, it also has an auto-laundry facility that is fantastic specially if you have been on the road for several days. We had a studio apartment which seemed to be brand new. We were only there 1 night but it would've been perfect for a longer break as you have the option to cook in the apartment. Parking availability, good family apartment for stopover in Florence. I would stay again. There's nothing not to like about La Farina, except that the elevator is a bit too small. The floor was very dusty. We also had to pay for clean towels, thought that was slightly unnecessary and pricey too (€5/person). Thankfully we did laundry so we washed the towels and didn't need to pay for clean ones. Location: it is bit away from the central station and center of town but there are local train and buses available. It will be a 5-10 min walk (7/10). Hotel does not offer cleaning service unless you stay for a week. Only given one set of towels for entire stay. Second bedroom is a loft with no door, and there was only one bathroom, but still apartment was great for the money we paid. The spiral staircase to the top level was quite steep and narrow and would be difficult to carry large suitcase up. Could do with soundproofing and mosquito nets at window as well as some English tv channels and an iron but overall much more freedom and cheaper than staying in a hotel. Nothing. That I could not stay longer!. Nothing. The location was a bit far from the centre but you could get a bus if you didn't want to walk. The only fault was that the air conditoner dripped water onto the painting above the bed. Minor points: It would have been nice if there was an iron in the room, and there was some noise from traffic (for a short time) in the morning. Otherwise great. not sound proof.I would recommand to try to get an apt. on the side facing to the parking area. Nothing. It was a bit noisy. The traffic was a bit loud and some guests made lotsof noise in the middle of the night. If you invested in a bit of sound proofing the place would get absolutely top marks!. The fromat of address is incorrect for GPS!please noted that G is an abbreviation !. The apartment i had rent was not available any more and i just knew that when i got there. They gave me two double apartments, one with double bed and another one with sofa-bed. One was in one floor and the other in another. We could hear propel in the other apartments,. Situated a little far. Not so close to the city, every time we need to get a taxi, about$10 euro to all the sights, but overall it's worth of price. the GPS address is incorrect on letsbookhotel.com. It was very hard to find a restaurant after nine o,clock, in that area. A little far from the city center, but still walking distance. when we arrived inside the apartment the temperature was 16 degrees and there was no heater.. Location is a little far away from the city center. Very noisy room (the apartament was street side) the windows were shakeing when cars pass throw the street.The policy of owner : the card did not work at them ( even if i used days before) and they didn't want to keep reservation until i give them other card number.It was very frustating when you are traveling each day.Also they asked money for our child even if we wanted to sleep in the same bad.In fact we are paying the apartament not the number of people!Lucky Florence is a gourgeus town. We arrived 2 pm but there was nobody in the reception even letsbookhotel.com states that check-in is from 2 pm. And maybe there should be little more dishes available. Opposite fire station. Mosquitoes. nothing:-). 10-15 € Taxi to cultural sites; you must budget this. However; well worth the expense. Very good value!. Some dishes in kitchen where not cleaned properly.
