Very clean and comfortable beds and adequate bathroom facilities. Friendly, easy-going and helpful staff. Great and convenient location - very central, aswell as near to stations. Feels safe and secure. Good free wifi connection.

The building is just a bit run down and in need of updating, particularly the carpets! However, we weren't there to enjoy a luxurious hotel, so it didn't matter to us.

Very difficult to find parking place near the hotel. The roads in Firenze are mostly one-way and very narrow.

Location, Location. Everything was right there and I felt as if I was living in in 1400s Florence. You get the real essence of the time. Claudio is helpful and friendly. We enjoyed conversations about Italy with him. His cappuccino is good too.

In general the room, the staff who was very kind. People often complain about the breakfast but I think it is just fine. It is enough, at least :) Everything was clean, so nothing to say there. And they kept our bags even after we checked out (we checked out in the morning and had a late evening flight).

The Internet. It is not bad bad ... but the signal just did not reach our room. We were, I think, in the top floor and the intensity of the signal was not enough for our phones to connect. However, once you went down a few steps in the stairs it would connect and keep the connection for a while. And in the reception it was quite good. But, only in our room, at that height, the internet was very bad.

It's always a great place to stay in Florence when traveling in a budget

The location is excelent, 5 min to any main site. Car park in the center what is very rare. Very helpful staff. Price is excellent considering what you get.

For most of us it was ok but there is a steep staircase on the entrance that made it hard for some. It is clean, simple, and no view, but if you have problems with stairs don't go.

The location was excellent!! We were able to walk from the hotel to all of the sites we wanted to see.

There is not parking, unlike the advertisement leads you to believe. There is a parking garage near the hotel, but it is completely separate. The hotel manager was not able to secure a spot there for us. Furthermore, that parking garage was nearly impossible to access. It was surrounded by one way streets and construction. We ended up parking somewhere else!

Location was great. 2 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio and city centre, and 7 minute walk from train station. Hotelier was a lovely, friendly man whose English was excellent. Maids made bed, cleaned bathroom and replaced linen every day! Most impressed! Relieved that there was a fan in the room.

No air con. Breakfast was a disappointment - only coffee & oj was fresh. Brioche croissant and toast came from a packet. Not enough to keep you going until lunch. My room carpet hadn't been cleaned before I arrived. Hotel was situated over/amongst garages which opened very early and closed very late, and always noisily. I returned to the hotel each night at around midnight, but garages closed around 1.30am so no sleep until after they closed, and they opened at around 6am!

excellent location. the Nonno there was very nice and helpful.

room condition was really poor, extremely basic. room description said a cooling fan included,but there wasn't anything. it was too hot to sleep. then we opened the windows but it was very very noisy outside. No lift, steep stairs, not easy for travelers with suitcase.(we didnt have one so it was ok for us.)

the only think which is good on this hotel is Location, it is literally 5 mins from Duomo
