The look of the Hotel is very Modern and very Chic, it has beautiful art and the location was fantastic right by all the main attractions. The breakfast was wonderful with both hot and cold items available and as much expresso, coffee or tea as you could want. My favorite thing was in the lobby they had a great area that was set up as a sitting room with comfortable seating around a large coffee table. all reviews » My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. Nice small boutique hotel. Right when you entered from the main door, you feel an environment of luxury. The lobby is very chic and modern. They greeted us with juice or water. They had some small snacks by the lobby during the afternoon and late evening! You hardly ever see this at other hotels! Our room was large! High ceilings! Awesome bed size and great mattress. The bathroom was very clean and new. The shower head was perfect. Excellent water p. The hotel is very centrally located near the Duomo and the shopping district, close to SMN train station as well. The staff were fantastic on arrival, very welcoming and helpful. There is a nice touch of having a tray of drinks and snacks in the lobby and the place has a warm, comfortable feel to it. Breakfast is fantastic: a great variety and generous, staff there were good. The room was large and they gave me a room with a view of the Duomo roof when I asked on arrival, though its a glimpse . This hotel was fantastic. Which kind of sucked for those who wanted to sleep in. Disposable plastic cups in the bathroom rather than glassware just seemed cheap, and out of place for an otherwise quite elegant place. The gym actually closes earlier than they described, so I was asked to leave , when I thought I had 30 mins left....but not a big issue. There were no other negative issues at all. IIts hard to find something I didn't like. Guest have put pictures of some damage on the bathroom sink, I would fix it. Perhaps music in te lobby throughout the day. So that's being verry picky...great hotel. Uneven heat in room. Nothing. I'm not sure if this is expected in European hotels but guests were charged separately for eggs ordered at breakfast. Is not about the hotel itself, but at night, the streets are very noisy in the city center, where the hotel is, but after the first night we get accustomed and did not hear anything ;-). An extra bedside table lamp in the bedroom to make it easier for those who like to read in bed at night is needed. Spa front desk staff less helpful, bed was against adjoining room's wet wall so noise from shower was disturbing. Automatic room lights would occasionally not function properly. Everything is perfect!. The room we were in had a bathroom door that didn't close properly. There were a number of built ins that were badly finished. The bedside lighting was not great. We booked for 6 people's room (2 suites) but one room had one king size bed and another room had two double beds. I have three grown up kids and they didn't want share bed. At 7 AM there was hot water but by 8 the water was at best likewarm (my wife could not tolerate the shower, I did but was not comfortable at all). One of the 3 rooms in the suite had a single chair in it. The hotel opens just over 4 years, there is a little bit smell from furniture that reminds you that this is a new hotel. The only opportunity was that on the first night, we had some rain and being in the top floor some water filtered through the bathrooms ceiling. I reported it and it was fixed immediately, no more leaking the rest of the days. Nothing. If you take the massage sessions from the near spa, you'll not be too much relaxed. The place is pretty noisy because it is close to the gym and you hear all the people shouting and hitting the weights. We waited 30mins before being attended to for checking in. A request to room service never arrived. Would have liked to use the spa but it was being refurbished when we were there (August). The bath room in our suite 202 was small for two adults. It had no counter space. The shower was modern and clean but hard to operate at first.
