Location - close to main attractions of Florence. Very friendly staff. All needed facilities. Big room. Make sure you notify the staff about parking reservation if you travel by car! Florence centre is very complicated for driving and doesn't have free parking places for non-residents. So, the garage in front of the hotel was very usefull, although expensive. Well equipped room. Free tea and coffee possibitly in the room was nice... The owner is very helpful and the location is very good. Definitely I'll stay again.
all reviews » Location was perfect for the sights of Florence and the train station. Room was of good size, had a/c and a nice sized en suite bathroom. The place was precisely what we expected. Simple and efficient with all the mod cons, sanitation, and in an excellent location for us. Hotel was in an excellent location.It was closed to restaurants, shops and the main attractions. the room is calm and very clean. It's comfortable to take a rest after the whole day visiting. the room had all facilities needed, a spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast, as it said in description, was very light. There was a problen with our sink. However, I think it was only a temporary problem. Bathroom was often wet because of the shower - we had to use a towel to mop up the water. Just the pillows weren't very comfortable. Can be a little noisy at times. You can see staff only in the morning and they dissappear till next morning. Also, staff speak only italian. No lift. No lift. The room was small. The staff didn't really speak English but despite this they were very helpful. Breakfast wasn't included but it was only 3 euros 50 per person so not a big deal but you were meant to request it when you book. Just a surprise as it is a B&B!. Breakfast and having to pay on arrival. 1, no breakfast, nothing. But in the confirmation note, it says breakfast included. 2, heater was strangely off during night but on when we were out at daytime 3, 2 floors to carry your luggage, no lift 4, the Spanish lady doesnt speak English, and the person who speaks English never appeared but need to contact her through phone. The staff availability for check-in in particular is not at all practical. Check-out time restrictions are also not very good. The check- out time restrictions did not match what was on the website. The location, while good for access, is not in a very nice part of the city. While we always felt safe, the graffiti etc. gave a bad impression of Florence. It was not really in our opinion a B & B. Just a "B" A croissant wrapped in plastic with jam and a kettle with tea and coffee is not really sufficient. The yogurt in the fridge was curdled. The towels were the scratchiest towels I have ever felt. No lift. Poor wifi. There's no breakfast, I thought that's what B&B stands for!. Very small room. No elevator. Staff can be italian speeking only. Noise from next-door room. This B&B is so wired that there's only one staff showed up,though she was very nice but it seems that the owner of the B&B cares nothing about her guest,and you have to Serve You Self!.
