My wife and I spent two nights of our honeymoon with B&B La Notte Blu, and we loved our stay. Very convenient location, just outside of Florence's immediate bustle. Yet, an easy and quick 5-10 minute walk to many of the city's most visible attractions. Comfortable and friendly, close to the action, and located in a wonderful Florence neighborhood, B&B La Notte Blu is a great option for any visitor to this grand European city.
all reviews » The room opened up onto a balcony and provided a pleasant place to catch up with my travel log. The room decor is interesting and spacious. Breakfast was good with home made bread every day. Location is in a quiet residential area and close to several good restaurants, shops, and a self-service laundry. It is within easy walking distance to the Duomo. Silvia the manager has been always pleasant to offer any help. The location is walking distance to the Duomo. The rooms are large and quite, perfect place to relax after long day of touring the city. I like the breakfast in the Kitchen and the snacks offered. I would definitely recommended and stay again at La Notte Blu. friendly welcome, helpful service, good advice, large and characterful room, soundproofing, great breakfast, tea and coffee making facilities (hurrah, Twining's tea!), quiet yet convenient location, value, freedom of access. Sylvia is truly a pleasant treat. From the moment we rang the buzzer until the hug we got as we were leaving everything was wonderful. We would recommend to everyone. Young, old, newlywed and family. Very calm place, very good hotel, very nice manager Sylvia - she helped to solve all our problems. Very good place to stay in Florence, only 20 minutes to get centre. The only little problem that it was a little chilly in the room when it became cold ( +2/+4 ) in the street. Internet access weak in bedroom. Mosquitos in room at night were annoying. The airconditioning did not function very well. Little bit too far from centre of town, about 20 mins walk, not bad just hard at the end of a long day. No block out curtains. Wifi didnt work in our room. A 20 minute walk to the centre means popping back to the B&B for a nap wasn't all that easy!. The bathroom fittings needed maintenance, there was just the one shelf and it was broken. The towel were very thin, the side draws were broken, the shower were very very bad and small.
