Very traditional circa late 1800s, true to the famous musician. Many many many amazing furnishings and decorations honoring the composer. Even had a couple horse carriages and baby grand piano. An absolute delight to stay in, will definitely return. Chose it for my wife, who is a Piano teacher. Very photogenic hotel, you travel back in time, but in luxury while getting a great deal. The staff was most helpful. Offered to open the resturant for us. Told us how to get across the highway in front of the hotel. Let us use the Internet at the desk for email and checking flight info. Were a big help in getting a van for our party of 8 to get to the airport on time!!.

Access to Rome only through the Fiumicino airport which is quite inconvenient. just that there was no general store or restaurant or bar in easy reach by foot later at night.location - very difficult to walk to any shopping or restaurant area. Most hotels offer free continental breakfast, this hotel did not.There were tons of mosquitos in the room...we could barely sleep because we were trying to avoid them. Lack of intrnet which can easily be overcome by a broadband connection extended to rooms or a wireless network; english channels like BBC or CNN would be an added advantage. A hotwater boiling kettle, a few tea coffee or tea bags make the guest to feel happy and self dependant if he wants to rise up with a warm tea or coffee. Surprisingly, the matrimonial bed was in a poor condition!!. Being in a relatively secluded area I would have expected less noise from on-passing traffic on the road nearby.I didn't like that I was put in the ancillary lot with no access to hotel staff or help in the case of an emergency. There was no phone in the room, the TV didn't work, and I felt misled as to where physically my hotel room was located, as it was not on the hotel main property. Value for the money would have been much better if we only needed to book one room. The hotel has no internet access.Web site's lack of frankness re absence of restaurant. Equally access tosite could have been better specified for users of local publictransport. This hotel is only accessible by car or taxi. City buses do not run anywhere near the hotel and it is too far from the airport/train station to walk.2 smaller beds in room were not very comfortable. beds were a bit stiff, the hotel was not terribly close to anything to occupy an evening - it was a bit of a walk to a pizzeria and restaurant, and though i read about a bus going to and from the airport, i could find nothing about it. Approach is difficult as compared to city centre. No easy access to dining.there was a lot of noise in the early morning (4am or so) that sounded like construction in the building. I arrived around 9 pm and was told the restaurant was closed. Also, no shuttle to airport and taxi is expensive. Might have been more convenient and cheaper to stay near Termini in Rome and take the train to the airport. Shower very dirty. The price was 40€, I gave a 50€ note and the staff didn't had the change... At reception is stated that "ALL people have to be registered, IDs are kept by reception and returned at check-out", remotes are given at check-in time. It makes me thinking they have very various customer types. Anyway, that's not very relevant... A Restaurant with full service.We couldn't have breakfast and even a dinner.
