  This was an excellent hotel. Room was large, bathroom terrific, staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff's knowledge of multiple languages was a real plus for those who speak Russian, or English or Italian - The people in the hotel are really nice to us and the hotel is really clean and tidy.

  As we had a car this location was perfect. Parking was free and the #12 bus to Venice was a 3 minute walk from the hotel which also sells the bus tickets. The bus was a 10 minute ride to Venice. The hotel was safe,clean and comfortable. A 5 minute walk from the hotel takes you to the local square which has an array of restaurant's however do yours... what people say » elf a favor and dine at the Bufola. We ate here both nights and it was delicious and not expensive. Get there by 7.15 as they will be turning people - I felt that I was in a more upscale hotel, even though the cost was quite reasonable. The hotel is in a very convenient location--near to the bus stops and also only a short walk to the piazza in Mestre. The breakfast included in the price of the room was wonderful! Also, parking is free on the grounds of the hotel.

  The staff went to great lengths to make us happy. For example, we needed to catch an early flight which meant we needed to leave the Hotel at 4:45am, breakfast was not served until 7:00am however, 30 minutes after their wake-up call they called again telling us that Breakfast was ready for us.   This hotel is incredibly convenient if you are looking for a good hotel that isn't on the island of Venice. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel, they sell tickets for the bus at the hotel, and the bus takes your right to the main bus terminal in Venice. Two stops, and you're there. I've stayed in a lot - Staying at the Hilton outside of Venice saved money and stress, compared to parking a car and searching for a hotel in Venice. The location was very convenient to hop on the bus in front of the hotel and be in Venice in 10-15 minutes. Parking was free and safe. Staff was very helpful and attentive. It was also refreshing to be in a more "American" hotel after traveling in Italy.

We got in late at Marco Polo airport and we weren't entirely sure how to get there, but when we did he was standing outside of his hotel waiting for us and he called out my name when he saw to people with luggage. We were there for only two days so we never really had time to figure it out exac - Hotel is close to the airport Marco Polo. You can take a bus and will reach campalto in 10min. Venice can be reached by bus within 15 min from the Casa Gaia. The busstop is just infront of the Hotel. Make sure you buy a ticket in the tabaccheria next to the hotel. Besides if you are in Venice for a couple of days there are some nice offers for tickets, which you can use for buses and boats and which are valid for 2 or 3 days.
