first of all i want to mention about the owner of villa Jimmy.Jimmy is very kind and eager. he explained us everything about the appartment and the area (restaurants,parking,sightseeing etc) with every little detail.he loves what he is doing.the villa is situated on 17th century.stay in villa vinicia is like being in another time.the appartment is modern with nice furnitures ,electrical appliances ,satellite tv ,wifi , warm water any time. tap water is potable with the best taste ever ! villa v.
all reviews » Very nice building, originating 1680, which is well renovated whereby a lot of the original details remained in tact. (e.g. entry, wine cellar, etc.) The complex is situated in the town center meters away from the boulevard and shops in a very narrow street. It only holds 7 appartments which are all modern and spacious. The walled garden with swimming pool provides a nice quiet area to sunbath and rest. The management is very kind and attentive and help out with any request. Daily fresh bread . האפרטמנס ממוקמים ביישוב קטנטן ולא תיירותי יותר מידי, 2 דקות הליכה מאגם קומו. הבעלים מאוד נחמד ועל אף שהגענו למקום בשעה 6 בבוקר מייד קיבלנו את החדר שלנו. בעצם לא ממש מדובר בחדר, אלא בדירה ענקית בעלת שני מפלסים, במפלס הראשון סלון, מטבח מאובזר ואמבטיה ומפלס השני חדר שינה. המקום מאובזר באבזור הכי מודרני, כולל חלונות שנפתחים באמצעות שלט ומכונה לשטיפת כלים. כמובן אין לשכוח את הנוף ההררי שנפתח מהחלון והבריכה שניתן לנצל בימות הקיץ. מומלץ, מומלץ, מומלץ!!!!. Great place to stay, the apartments had recently been renovated to a high standard and it was such a relaxing place. Im a single dad , was a great place to spend quality time with my kids. Sonia and Jimmy are very friendly and eager to help, they even had a pantry full of food that they said was for giests and we could take what we liked, internet had a strong reception.I will return..30 seconds from lake como too. Jimmy, the manager was an excellent host & could not do enough for us. The old villa has been set up with large, well designed rooms. Very family friendly in a quite location. Best & most relaxing place we stayed in all of Italy, during our 5 week trip in this country. The owner Jimmy was very friendly. He gave us a lot of information on what to do and where to eat and never led us astray. The apartment was nice and clean and had all of the mod cons as well as a lovely garden out the back which had deck chairs and a swimming pool. This Villa is a beautiful place to spend your vacation. It is a genuine italian villa, it still has the design and architecture from 300 years ago, but the rooms are very very modern. We sincerely recommend this villa. The above ground pool was a bit rickety and they did not provide towels or soap. The only thing I didn't like was the smell of smoke coming from the balcony next to our apartment. Nothing, absolutely. Accessibility to the hotel was not easy but with pre planning it should be fine. It would have been nice to have a second bathroom for the 4 of us in a 2 bedroom apartment. The food in the two restaurants we visited in the village was not at our expectation level of the italian cuisine, but somewhat already tourism adapted. Nothing - the pool could be build in. Location of the villa and the rooms (3rd floor and no elevator). It is true, only small cars can reach the villa.
