What people say

The pool was very nice, and it was handy to have the restaurant downstairs as there are few eating options in the town. friendly staff, close to "Italian life", close to a beach. We were advised by reception staff that it was okay to park on the street outside the hotel, and we got a parking ticket!!! Apparently parking is allowed only directly outside the hotel, not a few yards further along, but there is no road marking or sign to indicate this, so beware!.

Hotel Costa Doria is situated on the lido at Castelsardo, 3 km from the centre of the town, approximately 30 km from the port of Porto Torres, and around 45km from Alghero-Fertilia Airport. It is around 90km from Olbia-Costa Smeralda Airport and a similar distance from the port of Golfo Aranci .Thanks to its position at the centre of the Gulf of Asinara, Castelsardo is the perfect base from which to visit the most beautiful parts of northern Sardinia.

With its 900-year history, Castelsardo is not only an ancient and enchanting town in northern Sardinia but also one of the best surviving examples of a medieval conurbation to be found anywhere; it has been looked after very carefully throughout the centuries and retains its original structure to this day.
