The owner Luca is extremely friendly and helpful and collected us from the railway station. He will also bring you to the airport for a small price.   Well positioned for Citta Alta, a great base to explore the lakes and other medieval cities of the area. Angelo picked us all up at the airport, very friendly and helpful and his English is better than he thinks!! Highly recommended, very comfortable though quite small. - 2nd floor, plenty of space, all the amenities, very well decorated, big kit... what people say » chen , at a strategic point to the base of upper town and near to 2 parking about 600 metres away (free from 19:00 to 9:00 in the morning and 1,80 Euro every hour for all the other hours).

  The apartment I booked was not available but Laura emailed me about another one she had for the same price so my review is about the other apartment. When I got there is was extremly nice. The apartment was spotlessly clean and and closer to the city than the one I had booked. I could not recommend this place enough!!!(Tho its a different apartmen... what people say » t to B&B L'Olimpo :) ) Plus if your talking to Laura, tell her she needs a holiday, 3 days away on a Vespa in 5 years is not enough!!!!!!!!! :) - It is a very lovely small hotelnot far from the center of Bergamo.   The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was good...the shower and all the facilities worked well. The hotel was in a very good location for the lower city and I liked that we were in that area buut near enough to walk to the citti alta. We would come back to Hotel Arli again.   Lorenzo the master is very nice and congenial. The hotel is indeed an apartment in the old building in the centre of the city, almost in front of the walls of Citta Alta. Even cups, wardrobe and bureau are old and pretty. The breakfast is usual for Italy and is served in the room. I am likely to stay at Lorenzo's next time - i stayed with my wife in this lovely guest house in bergamo city centre. the place was very clean and cosy and it is highly recommendable. the staff was very friendly and helpful, they explained us everything from where are the best restaurants to eat, how to get to the old city(and the old city cathedral is a must see) to how to get to the aeroporto. so it was an excellent experience.

  We totally loved this true bed and breakfast. If you are near Bergamo, this Bed and Breakfast is the best most unique place one could ever find. This house should be in Art and Architectural digest. The house is so Art Deco/ Modern Nouveau and Shabby Chic. The owners created a artsy whimsical eclectic style place in the very beautiful countrys... what people say » ide of Bergamo. The beds were so comfortable and the owners are so eager to please. We met the wife since we arrived early and she was more than hap - It was so relaxing to stay at Le Nove Fate! Absolutely beautiful surroundings to wake up to everyday. The owners could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. They really went above and beyond. Only regret is our lack of car which definitely would have made the trip a more enjoyable one for us. If there had been more to do in the surrounding area it would have been a perfect holiday. But that's our own fault for not looking into it. I would highly recommend a stay at Le Nove Fate.

The location was really good - airport & train/bus stations are in close proximity, and also conveniently located from cable car station (for access to the Old Town). In additi... what people say » on, the apartment was extremely clean, and staff did come by each day to clean and leave out more foodstuffs for the self service breakfast facilities - Centrally located directly in the shopping distric, 10 min walking from central station, 2 min to bus stop to airport and hospital. Really clean Self service breakfast: basic but with all needed Nice appartement - well furnished - perfect for a long stay (there was even a washing machine)Perfect italian style: no salty food for breakfast and no kettle for hot water! Remember to call the owner 20 minutes before to pick up the keys.It was a great experience. Great value and has everything you need ideal, if a littel old fashioned which is exactly what you would expect in a 17 century building. For a weekend break. I would be happy to return.
