  That was a trip for 4 days and 4 different locations and as a result- for sure Liberty B&B was the best. Very cousy and unique place which is quite modern equiped but from the other side very autontethical and antique. We felt like at home there. The Owner is even over firiendly :). It was seen that make people heapy to stay in Bergamo is lik... what people say » e his personal goal. What was helpful a lot: map, all info. Plus free parking in private parking area next to the bilding. - The room and bathroom were spacious, pretty and had all that we needed. In a very convenient and relatively quiet location, everything is 5 minutes walk away. The owner was amazing: thoughtful, informative and very helpful. In fact, he went out of his way to save us from a crisis regarding our flight home by communicating to relevant people for us, helping us with luggage (two bikes) and also met us at the bus station to make sure it had all worked out well.

  Well positioned for Citta Alta, a great base to explore the lakes and other medieval cities of the area. Angelo picked us all up at the airport, very friendly and helpful and his English is better than he thinks!!   The apartment I booked was not available but Laura emailed me about another one she had for the same price so my review is about the other apartment. When I got there is was extremly nice. The apartment was spotlessly clean and and closer to the city than the one I had booked. I could not recommend this place enough!!!(Tho its a different apartmen... what people say » t to B&B L'Olimpo :) ) Plus if your talking to Laura, tell her she needs a holiday, 3 days away on a Vespa in 5 years is not enough!!!!!!!!! :) - It is a very lovely small hotelnot far from the center of Bergamo.   Everything about the hotel was so new and fresh we thought it had just opened when we stayed in Oct 08. We were told it was 4 years old. Super room, wonderful bathroom and great breakfast. Would gladly return. And the location was v close to train station (where the bus to the airport arrives and leaves) and a short walk to the old city. I stay in hotels frequently, and I've never experienced staff that helpful.

  Villa Luna is beautifully located above the Città alta only 5 minutes on foot from the city bus. It has scenic view from the terrace. The owner and service are very helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned every day. They served delicious own-made croissants on breakfast :D I strongly recommend this place.

  The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was good...the shower and all the facilities worked well. The hotel was in a very good location for the lower city and I liked that we were in that area buut near enough to walk to the citti alta. We would come back to Hotel Arli again.   Lorenzo the master is very nice and congenial. The hotel is indeed an apartment in the old building in the centre of the city, almost in front of the walls of Citta Alta. Even cups, wardrobe and bureau are old and pretty. The breakfast is usual for Italy and is served in the room. I am likely to stay at Lorenzo's next time - i stayed with my wife in this lovely guest house in bergamo city centre. the place was very clean and cosy and it is highly recommendable. the staff was very friendly and helpful, they explained us everything from where are the best restaurants to eat, how to get to the old city(and the old city cathedral is a must see) to how to get to the aeroporto. so it was an excellent experience.

Very relaxed, a good continental breakfast, good (if basic) local facilities - tabacchi, a few bars, cashpoint etc. No problem with the wi-fi that others have mentioned (the code is on the back of the door leading to the g... what people say » uest rooms). You can walk up to the citta alta reasonable easily and it's also not too far from the funicolare. I'd advise having a stroll round the - the owner is amazing woman; friendly, helping and charming. the location is just near Cita Alta what makes it a perfect location! the room was great - vintage style: all clean, tea and coffee, bathroom toiletries! and the breakfast was super awesome: ham and cheese, fresh croissants, yoghurts, fruits!

  Its a beautiful family run b&b. we had breakfast in the green garden without the intense heat of Florence. And its right in the heart of the old town of Bergamo; a short taxi ride from the railway station & to the airport. And the old medieval town had it all for a evening walk when it got dark; restaurants, delicious biscuits&cake&... what people say » ;pizza shops open late,narrow lanes with people walking, window browsing; And St.Agata's; a beautiful church. - We just stayed one night to catch early morning flight from Bergamo Airport. Location is perfect, 15 minutes drive to- from the Airport. We stayed in the family room with beautiful Terace-Garden. Even we left very early in the morning, the owner prepared some sandwiches for us as take away. Sure will stay also next time.

  We totally loved this true bed and breakfast. If you are near Bergamo, this Bed and Breakfast is the best most unique place one could ever find. This house should be in Art and Architectural digest. The house is so Art Deco/ Modern Nouveau and Shabby Chic. We met the wife since we arrived early and she was more than hap - It was so relaxing to stay at Le Nove Fate! Absolutely beautiful surroundings to wake up to everyday. The owners could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. They really went above and beyond. Only regret is our lack of car which definitely would have made the trip a more enjoyable one for us. If there had been more to do in the surrounding area it would have been a perfect holiday. But that's our own fault for not looking into it. I would highly recommend a stay at Le Nove Fate.

  Just returned from B&B. It was wonderful, looks like in the photos (even better). Laura is the best host I ever meet. The location is perfect, not far from the Citta Alta(25-30 min walking), quiet, close to the forest. In the morning I woke up with birds singing; after a delicious breakfast with regional products. The B&B it's so romantic ... what people say » place. Very nice decorations, everything arranged with so good taste. I stayed with friends, we booked the two rooms with a large shared bathroom. Eve - Wow! Just peruse the photos and magnify by 100. So well detailed for charm, ease of stay, beauty and so close to lovely Bergamo. If you are tired of millions of tourists I reccomend that you come to Laura's and enjoy the hospitality, beautiful wooded countryside the Old and New town of Bergamo. The interior of the Bergamo churches exceed Venice. You will enjoy exploring both new and Alta Citi and the Italian Lakes to the east of Bergamo along with the vineyards which look and feel like Chianti.
