The hotel is in a great location right in the center of the old town and is nicely done. We had a 2 floor suite that was cool. The bathroom was very small considering the overall size of the room. The breakfast was good. Revisited Gombit Hotel and were very pleased with everything. The location in the heart of Bergamo alta is perfect, service is good and friendly. Can warmly recommend this hotel to any one.

Location is wonderful; staff is very friendly and rapid; the design of the rooms is fantastic, I've never lived in a such modern-designed hotel;. Very nice designed hotel in excellent location in upper town! The room even the standard one is big enough with everything you need. kind of special, very interesting location in Bergamo Alta, perfect destination for a weekend. You have to pay for the location and luxury which is understandable but make sure you read the booking details carefully. I booked a suite for $500 per night. Fine print indicates thats for 1 person. When I got to the hotel with my wife They added on $100 per night for her. I have travelled the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels and that is the first time I got charged for bringing my wife (she stays in the same bed) and while I complained they would do nothing to adjust the bill. Room smaller than expected. poor breakfast, weak wi-fi in the room, don't have their personal laundry, so you cannot even iron your shirt when you came just for a weekend (but this is common for Italy), the design of the room is great although the faucet is very embarrassing and spits. Had breakfast in room first morning was a bit sparse. Asked for some fruit second morning and loads more came with it . Yoghart, more bread etc. also asked for some milk to use with coffee machine in room and got charged for a jig of milk? Not all take coffee without milk!. Problems with the wi fi During the whole stay!. a bit difficult to find unless you have a good map or a GPS. The price! But worth it!. Doors are to thin to keep the noise out within the hotel. The breakfast without strawberry jam.
