The view from room 14 is a must. Lake Como is directly in front ofyou~~it's breathtaking and like paradise. There is a stream to the leftthat gave us the noise of rushing water, which was soothing. We used theshuttle into town everyday, which was nice for us. We also tried two ofthe recommended restaurants on their 'in-room' list. Both werewonderful. The staff was very friendly!. The hotel is excellent! Clean and has great breakfast.

This was our second stay at Il Perlo Panorama in four years and it wasthe magnificent view that drew us back. If you not traveling with a car you have to rely on the bus or taxi toreach the hotel from town. The last bus and taxi is at 1830. There is asmall list of restaurants that provide a ride back to the hotel if youeat there.The breakfast could be better. Breakfast was not up to standard and they can really improve on this. Coffee and juice was machine made and horrible. Boiled eggs was cold and the selection of cheese and cold meats was little if any.Breakfast not up to standard. Limited selection and lack of fruit. Charging for coffee is unreasonable. a bit of a distance from the bellagio. The hotel was clean but the decor was a bit dated. The walls were extremely thin as we could hear everything the neighbors were doing and saying. Eating facilities were very limited. The evening meal for 15 Euro was far too expensive for the meal you were given. There was very little to choose from and the meal was not hot, also there wasn't a great quantity too eat. The breakfast was very mediocre with leftovers from the dinner the night before. The shower was extremely small. the booking did not specify the view (lake or mountain) from the balcony. I would never have booked this hotel had i known that the room had no lake view. The shower cubicle is tiny and the shower itself is very week. The water in the toilet pipe runs noisily all the time except for 10 minutes after the actual flush. Breakfast is awful. Freshly made coffee charged extra. Fastfood coffee - free.The breakfast is very poor. We have to pay an euro extra for capuccino,... taken from a machine. The coffee is horrible. We have to pay more 5 eur for our 2 years old kid breakfast (a cup of milk and cereals). The staff was very disagreable. The car park is very small.
