I travelled with my Mom and we spent 6 evenings in Bellagio and enjoyed every minute! Before we even left SA, Micol contacted us to confirm our arrival details. She even went so far as to arrange a driver to collect us from Como and take us to the apartment. The apartment is lovely and had everything in it that we needed. We had a comfortable bed and our bedroom overlooked the Olive grove of Villa Serbelloni. The apartment overlooked the park and beyond that was the lake and surrounding mount.

The apartment we rented in Viale Domenico Vitali was about 1km from the centre of the town, just a couple hundred meters above villa Melzi & it's beautiful gardens and very close to Bellagio Sporting club, which has a pool & tennis courts and a nice restaurant/bar. The girls who showed us around the apartment was very friendly and helpful. It's a one bedroom apartment with a fold-up single bed and a fold-up sof. My adult daughter and I had a wonderful time in a spectacular place. The view from our apartment of the mountains and the lake was breathtaking. And the view didn’t quit…spanning the living room/bedroom and kitchen. A separate bedroom was an added bonus along with a bathroom that was a good size and well appointed. The apartment’s location truly could not have been better--shopping, markets, ferries were all less than a 2-3 minute walk. The food, well it is Italy and it never disappoints! . Lovely little apartment, set away from the busy ferry terminal area but not too far to be inconvenient to access all local tourist areas. The living room area was a nice size for two people to just chill-out and use the wireless hi-speed internet. It has a nice balcony which you can see Lake Como from. The kitchen is hilariously tiny! but it has a fridge which was all we needed to just store wine and beer so that was fine. The bed was firm and we had ample pillows and sheets. The bathroom i. Hi. Ratings not easy to do on a mobile. Hope I rated everything as excellent because it was. The lady who picked me up and showed us tge apartment was amazingly helpful. Communication was excellent. The apartment was very good. Very clean and organised well. Lovely views for good price. The free pass to the Lido great. Recommendationsto restaurants good. Loved it thanks Emma king. Micol was so kind and accommodating to us, waiting for us to arrive late at night, and showing us everything we needed—even calling a restaurant for us! We loved the spacious apartment and charming interior design. The view of the lake out of so many of the windows was unbelievably great. All 6 of us slept comfortably, and we were so glad we stayed here. Highly recommended. The staff was super helpful throughout our stay and they gave us advices, helped us out with anything we needed! The apartment was extremely cleaned and the kitchenette was well equipped - there was everything you'd need. The terrace was really spacious and the private parking was also a plus. An excellent experience. Our hosts were delightful. They were there to greet us when we got off the ferry and helped us with our luggage. Nothing was a problem and if we asked for help they responded immediately. The rooms are in a wonderful location are basic, but very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Spacious apartment which accommodated 3 couples well. Good proximity to ferries, shops and restaurants. Well fitted out with crockery/cutlery. Very friendly person (Micol) to meet us when we arrived and to provide information about the apt. She also checked on us during our stay. Bed was uncomfortable; very springy and there was a distinct gap where the two mattresses met. Air conditioner rattled and was generally noisy. No designated place for luggage, other than the floor. No safe available. No lift for accessing upstairs apartments with luggage. Communication from letsbookhotel.com not great regarding access to apartment. We did think our local representative was extremely kind and helpful although our arrangements to meet up were a bit confusing. Everything was just great. The beds in the 2 bedrooms need replacement. Only minor issues of washing machine was not working at the time. Crockery could be updated (chipped coffee mugs). The only slight niggle was we found the bed too hard. Noisy street early in the morning. That's was the only disturbance. The shower could be a bit bigger. they really need A second window air conditioner!!!! it is A 3 room apartment with A window unit in one room, the rest is sweltering. also, the internet is inconsistant. The door to the entrance needs to be oiled!!! Very noisy!! The door to the apartment is difficult to unlock. The hot water system which just didn't come on automatically - we had to keep adjusting the controls. The mis-match of crockery. and the lack of wine glasses. Nothing. The parking was either paid parking (feed the meter) or street parking, which is a bit tricky. WiFi coverage is weak. The bed was terrible - it's all very well to have antiques, but the mattress needs to be replaced. An old wire mattress where the springs dig into you, is not acceptable in this day and age. There was some noise from road at the rear of the building which was a little disruptive at nights. On our last night a very noisy family (or couple of families) moved in next door and made things uncomfortable for us. Not the fault of the managers/owners. Wifi is not work in whole house. My main issue was that the description on letsbookhotel.com described the apartment as just "steps from the water jetty" This is totally untrue. It is at least a 30 minute walk to the water ferries (jetties) that take you to the other towns or across the lake. We were not planning on having a car and I rented this unit solely because it was supposedly close to the main piazza and jetties. So this was very disappointing. Nothing really. We were booked in to stay in a fancier apartment but when arrived we were told our room was 1.5km away so it would be more convenient to stay in another apartment which was apparently the same price. beds were not that comfortable. Parking. A bit noisy at night. Not brilliant Internet. Alley restaurant noisy when guests leaving in early hours. Parking on arrival only was a bit challenging. OLD bed, you could feel the coil/springs. Someone's garage door kept opening and closing right below the bedroom. Someone's dog kept barking away... All this kept us from full relaxation... no air conditioner. Paying extra for using a private parking spot that was the owners of our accommadation was annoying. Expensive compared to hotel the previous night in the same area. Only 1 bathroom with the toilet in it. Hard with 5 adults. Nearly €500 euros for the night. We were only there three days but upon arrival were told we had to move to another apartment on second day, which totally disrupted our break. In second apartment gas ring had pipe missing and gas was discharged internally so when we lit it a huge flame shot across the tiny kitchenette - scary!. Too far out and poor Public transport. Really not suitable for 5 adults as advertised. Only 1 bathroom. Right on a very noisy intersection. Wifi did not work.
