  Actually we did not stay in this apartment as something was broken and there was no water. However, we want to appreciate the way how the problem was solved by the owner. We wanted to spend there only 1 night, planning some time for an evening walk in Alghero and having the flight next day early morning to Rome (7.00). The owner awaited us in front of the house when we arrived, explained - Everything was just perfect! The hotel was very easy to reach from the airport (bus stop was just a few metres from the hotel). At first it didn't seem like much from the outside, just an ordinary block of flats with one flat converted for guests, but everything changed once we got inside. The atmosphere was so cosy that it felt like home. The rooms were incredibly clean and cleaned daily, there was a massage shower in our (private) bathroom. The fridge is every day filled with fruit, juices and yogurt which can be eaten all day long. The location is ideal, right next to the old city walls. Opposite this B&B you can park for free.

I felt completely at home in Calciufetta. The breakfast was perfect, plenty of selection and the best coffee I have had in a B&B ever. I will definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Alghero.

  Its a good situated hotel. We spend a week in the apartment and we loved it. Personal was realy kind and the apartment was clean and the beds oke. 1 minut away there is a big supermarket. The pool is lovely. In frond of the hotel is the see and lovely restaurants on the beach. Superplace to stay. We rent bikes for all the week so we never have to ... what people say » walk to the small city. But even you can do the walk. Nice place to stay! - Lovely apartment with 2 balconies - one facing the street with partial sea view off the lounge and the balcony off the bedroom faced the pool and had a sea view. The beds were comfortable and we had extra blankets for the nippy nights (we went in early May). Location is a nice 20 minute walk from the old town and there is a beautiful prominade all the way. Loved Alghero and LOVED Residence Picalé.

  When we came the owner was not there, so we called him by phone but he did not answer immediately and we went to see the Alghero. The owner called back after about an hour, so we came from the city and moved to our room. The room is very nice within walking distance to the old historic center (10-15 min). It's barely at 10-15 minutes of slow walking from the historical city center, 10 minutes from the sea. Overall it feels like your are taking a vacation, while still living at your home.
