Hotel located across the road from the Beach.
Bus runs to old town €1. Hope you have better luck to get the times right every 40 mins?
Best meal was had in the Hotel at the best price! Choice may not suit everybody.

The staff were very friendly, and helpful especially the ladies at the reception and the bar tender Pedros. The sea view on the balcony was most relaxing, as was the swimming pool. Although the machines in the gym are not modern, i found it most fulfilling to have a workout there. The breakfast was superbly presented buffet style! Keep it up!.
the hotel, pool and grounds were very very clean. The location was perfect and even though we overlooked a road we couldn't hear any traffic noise or passersby. The staff were very helpful and ensured we had a lovely holiday. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to others.
Hotel Florida was a fantastic hotel the cleanliness was amazing and all the staff were very welcoming and polite there was a lovely pool area and the room had a balcony and lovely sea view me and my husband had a great time.
Hotel location was excellent on the (in summer very busy) beach / boulevard and is on walking distance to the centre of Alghero. Swimming pool also a pre. Nice and not too busy.The breakfast buffet was very good.
Pool was excellent there was a bar and cafe so you could get colds beers and snacks by the pool. Everywhere was very clean. Staff were extremely helpful. Over and above for a European 3 star.
The staff were very helpful. The pool was lovely . They even had foam pads to put on the pool lounge chairs to make them more comfortable. Lots of loungers and umbrellas.
This was a lovely hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast. Spacious room with sea view. There is a great pizzeria around the corner.

The rooms are not insulted well from each other....you can hear other guests in the neighboring rooms when they have sex, shower or just move about in their rooms. I found this most annoying. I was unable to enjoy quiet night sleeping. In this day and age I find it weird that they dont have internet in the rooms, you have to go to the reception when you want internet and pay 2 euros for 30 min- this was most inconveniencing and vexing.

Extra charges were applicable for everything: internet, use of the fitness room, parking. Parking in front of and at the back of the hotel in the street however was free.
Hotel staff at the breakfast buffet could be a bit friendlier.
The beach directly outside was very pretty but maybe too seaweedy to lie on. However there was a gorge one just up a bit.
The beach across the street was horrible. It was covered with round fuzzy balls and (algae I guess) and something else that looked like wood shavings. The smell in the air coming from the sea was a sewage smell. We were so disappointed. You had to wade through blackish water near the shore to get out to clear water. We didn't use the beach.
It was a good 25 to 30 minute walk to town.

Beds hard and with a single, scant pillow.
Pools quite small. Room very small as is bathroom. Adequate for 2 nights
but no more. Had to pay for wifi cheap but could only be accessed in
lobbyso uncomfortable. Pool towels not provided and had to be hired at 3
euro each. Very small so youreally needed 2 to cover pool lounge. The
beach has sea grass washed up everywhere. Needs to be collected and
disposed of. It actually smells. Obviously not the hotels fault butthey
do say they are across road from this great beach.
It was so loud, I couldn´t sleep at all. A/C - too loud, outside a very popular bar, noise from the halls. Only for short stays. Buffet Breakfast was very standard with only one type of cheese.
AC was poorly working, expensive for the standard of the hotel.
Urgently needs a renovation of the hotel, staff and the manegement.
