Great location, in the centre of Alghero. The beachbus and local buses inc airportshuttle left just right outside the B&B. The room was in very good condition, best we stayed at in Italy. Also had aircondition and a fridge that had were filled up each day with water and juice. Angela, that runs the B&B, were very nice and helpful. You will also get a breakfastvoucher that you can use in two cafés nearby. We liked the one just across the street in the park, friendly staff and great coffe! An idea for Angela and Paolo. Since the town has great bikelines it would had been great if the B&B had bikes for rent. :)

The only thing I can come up with is, needs better information/communication that the B&B is on the second floor. We saw the sign on the house but after that we were clueless.

Great location, just minutes away from the city center. Angela, the lady who takes care of everything is extremely nice. And she takes care of the place so well -- everything is spot clean. She also has great recommendations, like for example the Casablanca restaurant where we ate every night, for 3 nights in a row. The room we stayed in was small (courtyard view) but cozy and with modern furniture. I've seen the other ones too, so if you can book them, know that they are a bit larger. Breakfast, although in the Italian style, was amazing -- at a cafe right in the park across the street. A good coffee, a good sandwich with ham and cheese and a glass of juice was enough to start the day. Another thing to like is that the beach is only 8-15 minutes away, walking. For Le Bombarde or Stintino (La Pelosa) -- they are amazing, must sees -- you'll have to take the bus or rent a scooter.

We would recommend mosquitoes nets on the windows. Not sure if mosquitoes are a big problem in Alghero but every night we had an unwanted guest to fly above us. A bit of food smell in the evening from the nearby restaurant (Pesce d'Oro) if you're in the courtyard view room, and quite noisy until 11PM or so ... but we weren't bothered as we only came late, at midnight or later.

The room is very very clean, 12/10, Its a flat with 3 rooms, the owner runs the place and cleans it so it is properly clean and very modern. Nice led tv, Breakfast is in a cafe next door, and includes a cofee, pastry, yoghurt, Wifi is very good, fast The owner is lovely

Parking opposite hotel is €1. Per hour, Free parking 5 min away is between 20.00 and 8 am, or daytime max 2 hrs. But there are plenty of free parking elsewhere. The beach near hotel Maria Pia is proper bad and smells. I recommend stintino beach 40km drive. Its amazing

A bit expensive for what you get but the room is nice. Street noise could be a problem.

Breakfast in the bar across the street was a bit underwhelming.

The receptionist was very nice and she "cleansa evvveryday". Thus, the room was very clean. The location is superb, right by the old town. Bars and restaurants are meters away. There is also a nice park and a supermarket directly across.

The outside is a bit run down and it is very loud on weekend mornings. Check out is at 10am, way too early (we did get a bit of an extension though). The room is rather small and there is no view. The beach is pretty far and the activities are rather expensive. If you're looking for luxury I would not stay here, but if you are looking for a "cheap" place to stay that is clean and close to the old town this is your place!

Convenient location

Could not check in when we wanted to, room was too small, very claustrophobic and we got the one with window facing another building!!
