  This is my regular stopping point to be near Venice Airport. The staff are alway very helpful and friendly regardless of time of day. The free shuttle to the airport is also "a nice touch" that a lot of other hotels don't offer.A great place to stop. - The very closest hotel to the Airport.   The price was extremely reasonable, especially after two nights in San Marco. We had an early morning flight from the airport so wanted to move out of the San Marco area the evening before our flight. Bella Onda was minutes from the airport. There is no staff on site but there was a intercom at the front door so that we could contact them as soon ... what people say » as we arrived. They were very helpful getting us settled into our rooms. Breakfast things were available in the room so that we could eat even though - Our mroom in this B&B was completely self-contained. We arrived late on a flight into Venice airport, and we were met at the terminal, and it was only about a five minute trip to the Bella Onda B&B. We were shown to the room, which was large with one bed, and a table set for our breakfast. There was an adjacent kitchen with cold items in the refrigerator (butter, cheese, yogurt) and tea/coffee making facilities. We enjoyed being able to take breakfast without having to leave our room. With sign language we had a neighbor call the owner, who arrived very quickly to let us in. It was a beautiful apartment.

  Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, we were very lucky to be given a room overlooking the canal which was great. Cesare (owner of the hotel) could not be more helpful. He truly made a good hotel into a great one! Very personal, easy to get to from the boat stops, and a very short boat ride to the main island.
