Just 3 km from the Valley of Temples, Hotel Kaos is surrounded by parkland and near the birthplace of the Italian writer Luigi Pirandello, just outside Agrigento centre. Parking is free. The pool, and the gardens. The refurnishment is excellent; stylish and good exciting design in reception, bedrooms, shower room and bar. The proximity to Valley of Temples and local bus service to the door. Room comfort, swimming, tennis, near to beach, excellent breakfast, exteremly helpful and friendly staff. Specific style of room equipment. The restaurant was really only a bar menu and only the tour group could eat in the proper restaurant. There was no other eating places nearby. A taxi to a different restaurant cost 30 euros, because there was hardly any choice of food except bar snacks at the hotel. Poor and expensive dinner (easy to find better locally but got caughton our first night when we were tired). Directions not detailed orspecific enough.no good markations, difficult to find a hotel, breakfest should be better, the bathroom to small and old-fashioned. This hotel has really a problem concerning the price/quality standard. The price is much to high for the offered quality. From the five hotels we visited it was the only one who charges our son for the extra bed. The (luxary) rooms at the pool-side give really noisetrouble when there is a wedding party. The management is inflexible in contrast with the staff. Prices for dining/lunching too high.
