I thought it was in a very good neighborhood and. Cold. Get to it quite easily once I knew. The bus route . the staff were mat friendly and I would especially like to commend Marna , the receptionist who was most helpful and friendly. it was a hotel that I would strongly recommend to my friends going to Haifa and the north. we liked the value that we got for the paid money, the staff which was very friendly, the location is very quite, and the view from the rooms is beautiful, the rooms are big, including a kitchen and even Jacuzzi, the breakfast was nice, the hotel was clean.

In a pretty, quiet residential area. the price. Carpet was old and in need of repair. No small towels provided (for dying hands, etc). Windows in dining room were not clean and tables (having glass tops) were dusty because of open windows - the need daily dusting. no swimming pool. Room was well equipped, but small. It had a coffee pot, but no coffee. It lacked a soap dish for shower. No mattress pad. Parking. We had no idea how far it was from the interesting parts of Haifa. Getting there from a train station was an expensive taxi ride. We took a slow, meandering bus back to the station when we left. It would help if the hotel had a shuttle car or bus to help people get around. the rooms are bit run down/need modernisation. Many minor things needed repair (kettle, air-con, shower in one of the rooms - the staff however was sorting the issues promptly). We payed 12 dollars for the baby cot. We stayed in 6 hotels in our tour in Israel and Marom was the only hotel that charged us for the baby cot. Location is ok if you have a car. Very old hotel. Need some remodeling ASAP. You need a car to move around from there. cero service that has not been informed in the site and should have been informed. Location is far away from the city center. The owner was not welcoming or friendly. The carpet in the bedroom was not only filthy but also hadn't been vaccuumed. The curtains had holes and the furniture was dated and very worn. Breakfast was not very fresh. However, this is a cheap hotel for Haifa, so I suppose you get what you pay for. Also you have to catch a bus to get to cafes or restaurants. dirty, tattered, no coffee or water.
