Staff extremely friendly, food was lovely, room lovely

I found the room nearly too hot during the night ( could be worse though, could have been too cold!!!), so its not a complaint 1

My group also stayed at Dromoland Castle and we all agreed that our stay at Ballygarry House was more enjoyable. The rooms were very comfortable.The price was reasonable. The staff from check in to check out were most gracious and professional. I would highly recommend the hotel. Thank you

This hotel exemplifys a exquisite hotel in Ireland. Absolutely outstanding quality and the frendliness and helpfullness of the staff was by far the best i have experienced in hotels accross Europe

Warm friendly service and very courteous assistance in every aspect.

The only dissapointment was not to be able to make appointments at the spa. Next time we will know to plan ahead.

The breadfast (full Irish) was good but could have been better. Also the rates at the hotel were different for a number of people who stayed during our stay. In some cases the rates varied by 45 euro a night (all of these booking were done via the internet). I think that 45 euro is a substantial difference and I was disappointed with this aspect of the hotel. Otherwise we had a lovley stay.

Room was v.spacious compared to other rooms which I had stayed in, in the ballygarry before.

No Pool and spa treatments are expensive, there should be a discount for the spa when you are staying in the hotel

The food was very good but expensive in the bar

We did not arrive untill 10.45pm we were hungry but only offered asandwich which we did not have however when we went to pay our bill theytried to charge us for room service which we never had.also everyone waspaying different prices one guest even had a meal included and paid lessthan us for the same 3nights

Very helpful staff with a lovely warm atmoshere in the hotel. The food was very good and really enjoyed the spa area.

Sky sports in the bar areas and also rooms would have been good as we went to another bar to watch some of the games but the bar at the Ballygarry was much nicer.

Wedding guests travelled from cork and asked for some scones and tea when they booked in and had to do with 2 scones between 4 of them as the hotel had no other cakes or scones. This is a bit "Irish" for a 4* hotel. Glad my mother and myself had a muffin in Mc Donalds. This kind of service is very poor in such a fine hotel otherwie.
