We loved Ashley Lodge B&B, The host was so friendly and helpful seeing if we had everything we needed at breakfast which was more than enough. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. We only stayed the one night on our way back for the early ferry. It was situated only 5 minutes from the port so very handy. Fully recommended. Lovely comfortable & clean surroundings. Great location for Rosslare Ferry - just a couple of minutes drive. Off main road so nice and quiet. Great full Irish breakfast - and Margaret was happy to get up early in order for us to have breakfast before ferry. Already booked to go back.

The owner (Margaret0 welcomed us despite the fact that she thought our booking had been cancelled. Beautiful facilities, including the best TV options experienced during our week long visit to Eire, Superb breakfast. Superbly clean,well appointed , the hostess very pleasant. Breakfast excellent. Unfortunately unlikely to be back this way, however no hesitation in recommending. If only all were of such a high standard. The whole experience was very good. Margaret was welcoming and the facilities ideal. She was careful to explain everything and establish what our breakfast requirement were so that we were set for the day. Excellent position for the morning ferry trip. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to ensure each and every guest where happy. Very clean and organised and excellent value for money. Every thing about the accommodation was first class. the food the bedroom and especially the lovely towels. Mrs Day was also great really made you feel at home nothing to much trouble for her. Nothing really except the water in the shower was just a little too wet. Nothing. Nothing. The weather. ... Small shower cubicle. Nothing Everything was spot-on. No newspapers or reading material in the residents lounge. Only a double sized bed. Nothing. There aren't many attractions nearby, but it's a good base for visiting different parts of Co. Wexford.
