Thr room was lovely. We were given a lift into town to attend a function in town by the owner of the B&B. Next morning the breakfast was of a high standard with three or four options. We usually stay in hotels but enjoyed this experience and, if in Kenmare again soon, will stay here. Thanks to Carmel from the two of us. -

Stayed 1 night so that we would have an early start on our drive around the Ring of Kerry. Lansdowne was the perfect hotel for our brief stay. The staff was very friendly and even though there was no elevator, the staff was more than helpful in carrying very heavy bags up the beautiful staircase. I would definitely recommend to anyone that they stay at this fine hotel.

We cannot praise Acorn Cottage enough and would look no further when again staying in the area. Their attention to detail was excellent. Very friendly and efficient in all areas - girls on reception/waiters, etc. Used the Spa, and it was a beautiful experience. This B&B has an excellent breakfast that came with the rooming fee. Aside from basics you find at a continental helping, the mother-daughter team cook an item from a menu as well. Portmagee positions visitors with an interest to visit Skellig-Michael quite conveniently. Plus, there is plenty of room for parking a car (free). Rooms were exceptionally clean. Recommend.
