I attended a black-tie event at the hotel, but the suit hire people included trousers that were far too small!!!! I told the receptionist about my dilemma and it was not long before they miraculasly found a pair of trousers which amazingly fitted perfectly!!! That is what i call service, without their help we could not have attended the event. Thanks for your speedy assistance and lovely manner!!! - Claire

I arrived quite late and kitchen as already closed. Still it was possible to have a small bite to eat. The room was in 1 word great and the design of the complete hotel, pub and restaurant is outstanding. Renovation of the old buildings have been done with lot of respect for the age of the buildings without loosing its character. Staff was very kind and friendly! - Anonymous
