  I stayed on the barge with my two children aged 8 and 12. We used to live in Dublin so wanted something "different" to make it more interesting and the barge was certainly that! Trish and her husband (the owners) had thought of lots of "extras" to make us comfortable and to make life easier for us. The canal option was so good and our friends young kid loved watching it all unfold....so did the adults. You want for little staying with Dublin Barge Hire and its right downtown walking distance to Trinity College, all the museums, and the new Rugby/ Soccer stadium.   I recently stayed at pearse hotel with 2 friends who I havnt seen in a long time so in order to have a catch up we decided to go to the olly murs concert and this hotel seemed perfect. The lady on reception was extremely helpful as we got lost but she was more that happy to help us, she was also very polite and welcoming when we arrived and organi... what people say » sed our taxi to the gig as we were running a bit late. There was also a guy in the bar who brought our room service to out rooms and when we came down - Staff were very accomodating,as two young people most hotels assume we will be noisey,they did their very best to treat us equally and were very polite and proffesional at all times,there was a bit of a mix up with our booking when we arrived they did not have our booking on the computer but the gent at the reception was most helpful and fixed us a room immedietly even giving us the best room in the hotel for the same price it was relaxed and we felt very welcome i would definatley stay here ag
