It is a half a block away so it made it easy to find the city bus tours and the tourism office. The beds were very comfortable which was a definite plus. They also have two guest computers that you can you use for free 24 hours a day. They were sometimes busy, but there was always a chance to use them.

The Belvedere Hotel was close to the centre,of Dublin a couple of minutes away walk. The room was quite and very clean and breakfast enjoyable, you received a discount if booking breakfast when you arrive. Lifts available so you don't need to carry bags. We got a very good last minute deal for the night. There is a pub bar/food connected to hotel.The hotel has entertainment shows on weekends.

The hotel was clae and excelled on all of the above points.
Myself and my daughter had dinner in the bar and the food was lovely. The level of English for one of the staff members was quite poor but another staff memeber came to the rescue.
The home made chips were lovely as was the pizza.

The staff were excellent post checking out as my daughter left here ring on - We had a very comfortable stay and the best lifts we have ever been in, quick and silent. Also we were able to park our car for the three days that we stayed at the hotel. Breakfasts were excellent and altogether a very pleasant stay.

The guesthouse was 24 hours, somebody stayed up all night to let guests in. We went to an Eminem concert and returned at 2am with no problems what so ever. Got a bit of a fright when we went to check in it was a hostel office
but thankfully we had our own apartment in a block. Very convenient to
the city centre around the corner and Temple bar was just across the
bridge. Had a lovely breakfast in the Batchelor Wok next door and was

I must say, and I told the hotel, I have never had such a good breakfast experience!
Not only was the food plentiful and hot, but a big plus, served as well. I thoroughly made a pig of myself. An interesting point I would make, the hotel is like the tardis from Dr Who. On the outside it looks like an ordinary b&b but when you get inside it is much larger and'posher' than you expect it to be.

Myself aged 31 and my mother of 65 years of age were looking for somewhere fairly central but away from the noise and that's just what we got! 10 minutes straight forward walk to shopping locations, Temple Bar, Central Bus Station, The LUAS and Connelly Train Station. We found the Ripley excellent. We stayed there initially when we arrived in Dublin, then after touring Ireland for two weeks, we stayed there again before leaving for Wales. Would not have done this if we were not happy.
