Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. I was booked in to the Andorra B&B for two nights, the first as a solo traveller with my partner joining me on the second night. As my mother lived close by I asked Nuala, the proprietor, whether my mother could join me for breakfast on the first morning. Not only was my mother made welcome but Nuala also provided a complementary breakfast for my sister, who had just flown in from Miami that morning!

The food, service and atmosphere was outrstanding. I arrived for the Dublin Marathon and was very impressed with the Ballsbridge Hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.
