  Arriving and leaving the staff were very very friendly kind and helpfull. Appartment was very clean with plenty of room with kitchen well supplied, we didnt here any noise from any other appartments any night as the hotel/app' was full at the time.   I asked for all kinds of help and I was always very satisfied - this hotel has very helpful staff and excellent service delivery. I am 56 years old and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The health spa and gym are excellent with great staff so do try them. Indeed I dropped my wallet in the gym and it was at the reception waiting for me. ... what people say » - Loved it.   Eileen and Michael were welcoming from the first moment we walked through the door. Eileen made afternoon tea for us . The breakfasts were superb. The room we had was #4 and was beautifully decorated. Michael gave us a lift to the bus staion when we left and there was a bus stop just acrossw the street, the #202. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast - Our host Eileen was a real gem - she made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to drop us off in the city (not sure if this is usual or not!). She supplied us with a full buffet breakfast in a beautiful dining room overlooking a garden, a lovely way to start the day. Blackrock is not right in the centre of Cork but the city is easily accessible by car (10 mins drive) or by bus - there is a bus stop right outside the accommodation.
