  The room was suprisingly large, clean and bright, and it was equipped with lcd TV, powerful hairdyer and tea or coffee making facilities. For those who love tea, it should be added that tea was of really good quality, and it definitely added extra smile on our face! The receptionist we met on our first day was the best ever, and after hearing we w... what people say » ere not so great with the directions, she even drew the bus routes onto our map, making the navigation easier. I bet everyone else have already praise - The Waterloo Lodge was ideal for my stay as it was 10 minutes walk to rds and to Marion Square (start location of the Dublin city Marathon). I traveled with my wife and our two kids (3 & 5 years old) and the family room we had was ideal, plenty of space. Staff were very accommodating and breakfast was excellent. All in all, we had a pleasant 3 nights stay in the Waterloo lodge.

  The location, price and facilities were excellent. the room was down from 420 to 240, i would definately look for a room again if staying in dublin. - We wanted to cater for ourselves and this hotel gave us the opportunity to do so.

  I've used the Ferryman on a regular basis during 2013, weekly at one stage...it's simply great value for money...very central location beside IFSC, Spencer Dock and Grand Canal Dock. Ten out of ten for the staff - they were great. The hotel is close to the city, we walked to O'Connell St and Temple Bar, easy walk and very safe. Great - Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. We were able to lock our bags up before checking in so we didn't have to drag them around the city. Also, the staff helped us with directions, provided free maps, and recommended places to eat.
