  Lovely old bulding in nice area of Dublin , very friendly and helpful receptionist , our suite on top floor was amazing , we loved four poster bed and wonderful hot tube. There was selection of dvd's to watch , air condition , well equiped kitchen and even sauna in the suite ! Balcony and special room with pc and even printer were there too. We had amazing st - We are regular visitors to Dublin and always stay at the Roxford Lodge. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble...even arriving early in the morning. Tea and coffee is available all day. And the breakfast is something else. There is secure car parking. The hotel is very convenient for the city centre, the RDS, the O2 and the Bord Gais Theatre. The bus from town stops outside.   I recently stayed at pearse hotel with 2 friends who I havnt seen in a long time so in order to have a catch up we decided to go to the olly murs concert and this hotel seemed perfect. There was also a guy in the bar who brought our room service to out rooms and when we came down - Staff were very accomodating,as two young people most hotels assume we will be noisey,they did their very best to treat us equally and were very polite and proffesional at all times,there was a bit of a mix up with our booking when we arrived they did not have our booking on the computer but the gent at the reception was most helpful and fixed us a room immedietly even giving us the best room in the hotel for the same price it was relaxed and we felt very welcome i would definatley stay here ag

  I liked the hotel decor. Though my room was small like most europeanhotel rooms the room was charming. The breakfast was very good and Iappreciated getting to order a hot breakfast off of the menu. It waslocated only 5 minutes from the train station which was then only a 10minute drive into the city. It was a 5 minute walk to 2 excellentrestaurants... what people say » , a Thai and Roly's Bistro. Make reserva - I loved the fact that we were outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close enough only 10 mins on the Dart which there were very frequent. The atmosphere of the area and the townhouse itself helped us to completely relax.

  Excellant and helpful staff. Rooms are very comfortable. They even had new glossy magazines to read which was brilliant. Lovely warm atmosphere in hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.... what people say » I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and enhanced my enjoyment & preapartion for the Marathon. - Excellent location.   I've used the Ferryman on a regular basis during 2013, weekly at one stage...it's simply great value for money...very central location beside IFSC, Spencer Dock and Grand Canal Dock.
