Lovely old bulding in nice area of Dublin , very friendly and helpful receptionist , our suite on top floor was amazing , we loved four poster bed and wonderful hot tube. We are regular visitors to Dublin and always stay at the Roxford Lodge. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble...even arriving early in the morning. Tea and coffee is available all day. And the breakfast is something else. There is secure car parking. The hotel is very convenient for the city centre, the RDS, the O2 and the Bord Gais Theatre. The hotel room was well presented and clean with plenty of space. The TV had more than just the standard channels, with 2 music channels. I liked the hotel decor. Though my room was small like most europeanhotel rooms the room was charming. The breakfast was very good and Iappreciated getting to order a hot breakfast off of the menu. It waslocated only 5 minutes from the train station which was then only a 10minute drive into the city. It was a 5 minute walk to 2 excellentrestaurants

The bed has to have been one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! It really was great. Staff were very pleasant. Location was also brilliant. Most of all, though, I got a last-minute deal which was really good value. Oh yes, one other thing - there was a lovely little ceramic teapot in the room, a lovely change from having a tea-bag in a cup and I appreciated this very much!
