This was one of the best trips I've had to Dublin. My flight was delayed, and my husband's flight was ever more delayed, so we arrived late at night, tired, hungry and grumpy. The staff could not have been nicer, whisking our bags upstairs and organising drinks for us in the drawing room at the speed of light. The food provided at nearly midnig

Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Everything in this hotel was as you would expect for a 5* hotel. At no point did we think something was amiss as is often the case in other hotels. Even the staff on the doors remember you when you return from a day out! It is sli

Buswells Hotel is very well located for sightseeing and shopping in Dublin. At the same time the hotel is situated in a very quiet spot in the heart of the city, and you can sleep your night in peace. Lovely old-fashioned atmosphere, friendly staff and very confortable rooms. Bar and lobby are welcoming. Ask for a room with a wifi. Excellent value. I was worried about all the reports on noise, but it didn't bother me at all. It is fairly clear that it is going to be noisy anyway. Anyone complaining about this has been warned by other reviews and by the hotel's own website. It is ideal for anyone on a budget. Drinks were 2.50 at the bar and a large selection of meals from 6euro. If you prefer to be part of the party this place is great for you.
