We would definitely recommend this b&b. Obviously Killarney is awash with hotels and similar establishments, but this one was top notch. It's run by a delightful couple, it's easy to find (on the right) as you drive into Killarney from the Park; nice house; well sound-proofed; nice rooms; warm hospitality - like a home-from-home really; excellent breakfast. A very short drive into town for dinner (it's closer to town than most of the other b&bs), so driving north you might think you hav.
all reviews » Very friendly accommadating staff. Very close to town centre. My twin room was spacious, and although the shower room was small it had a very good power shower. Part of our group were expecting a triple room but were given a huge sized quad room with very spacious bathroom. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice...fruit juice,cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and then a full Irish breakfast. I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. Very good value for money. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts, who gave us great advice on our trip. Robeen House is the perfect place to stay in Killarney, as it is less than 10 minutes to the centre of town and a 2-minute drive to the entrance to the National Park from where you can explore Muckross, Torc waterfall and the beautiful lakes. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!. Very convenient location, close to town center, park etc... Exceptional host, was friendly, knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for his guests. Immaculately clean, The rooms were lovely, crisp linens, big fluffy towels, excellent shower, privacy shades behind lovely window treatments, Nice sitting area with table & chairs. Yummy breakfast. I would highly recommend this charming and peaceful property runned by Bernice and her husband, willing to please and help in a friendly atmosphere but professional and spotless at the same time. The Rooms were absolutely wonderful. Nice and big and comfy! The Irish breakfast was incredibly delicious and a fabulous way to start the day! Bernice was the most amazing host..fun, friendly, helpful and informative. My husband and I didn't want to leave. We won't stay anywhere else when in Killarney!. Robeen House was excellent - we were well within walking distance of the town of Killarney. Our hosts could not have been nicer there is a lot to do and see in the area. I would highly recommend Robeen House and hope to visit again. We liked the friendly atmosphere, willingness to please, and the location (just a 5 minute walk to the center of town). They also went way out of their way to help us when there was a little trouble with transportation. Ian and Bernice are lovely people who made us most welcome and booked our coach trip to the Ring of Kerry for us prior to our arrival. We were very comfortable and enjoyed good wholesome breakfasts. Once again, as we have found throughout Ireland, it is the staff that make a "house" and at Robeen House it was no exception. Well done!. A five minute walk from Killarney town so the ideal location. I liked everything about the B&B, however, the only thing I would suggest is that there is nowhwere to hang up clothes in the shower room. And especially as the shower room is quite small, maybe a coat hook on the back of the door would be useful??. There was nothing I didn't like !. Nothing. Nothing!!!!!. Nothing. Television in the room didn't work. No green tea in the morning for breakfast. Nothing!. Nothing. we weren't greeted very well when arrived or told anything about the city like we had experienced at other BnB's.
