After quite a long journey from Galway, we received a lovely, warm welcome from our hostess. The view from The Waterside was absolutely beautiful (even in the rain!!!) and our bedroom and en suite were lovely. Breakfast was a choice from a range of food, which was great. We were a few minutes from Kenmare town, where we spent our evenings in some of the traditional Irish pubs, listening to a variety of live music. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in Kenmare, also. We would definitely st.

I loved the information book provided in each room filled with suggestions of where to go/eat as well as helpful tips for avoiding traffic! I would definitely go back. We enjoyed with our stay at Watersedge guesthouse. The rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. The house on the hill and there is very beautiful view on the river. Children had pancakes for the breakfast. I really recommend to stay here!. Loved, loved, loved this location!! It was right by the water and you could take this path to get really close! The owner also provided recommendations for dinner and the breakfast was lovely!. Excellent location with fantastic views of mountains. Hosts really friendly and helpful with advise and local info. Good breakfasts. Kenmare a great place to be just outside of. We stayed tree nights in this great bed and breakfast. Service was good and the location was superb ( we loved our room with lakesideview so much, that we took the key with us ). The location....about 15 walk from town,suited me down to the ground..gorgeous guest house and Noreen an excellent host.. Beautiful setting, all creature comforts, excellent breakfast, all presented in the most charming way by the proprietess. The room was cozy, the view was beautiful, and breakfast was great. Clean with very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. 10 min scenic walk to town. Nice owners. Lovely rooms, quiet and well decorated. Lovely; Welcome location views Clean and comfortable. Owner setting. Stunning view from the deck but was under the impression they were closer to the water. The only slight downside is the walk from the B&B to the town centre. We didn't actually try it so can't say exactly how long it takes, but we were told it's not really suitable in wet weather (which is common in Ireland). Nothing to dislike. On the way out for dinner on the "lane".. away from the guesthouse there is a vicious dog...he needs to be put down,so different to Noreen`s "gypsy"..who my young daughter adored... Watersedge suggests on the water, but it overlooks. It is a very nice B&B all the same. Signage a little hard to see. Weather. Nothing we didn't enjoy!. Hard bed. While the staff were friendly and the place was clean, this is not a 4*. Should be rated 3* under a fair rate would be around the €60 mark.
