  Great value and wonderful place to stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the whole facility was very clean and nice, perfect for a long stay with a large eating area, large kitchen and public lounge areas. I like that breakfast was included. I didn't know you could get a private room at a hostel but it was perfec - They Kinlay was excellent! I've stayed at many hostels, and this was tops. It was clean, easy to move around in, centrally located to much of the sights of Galway, and easily put us in touch with a great free walking tour of Galway. Facilities were clean. Printing is free. Breakfast is decent - cereal, toast, or museli, with coffee and tea. Hot water just fine. Either bathroom connected to your room or large shared bathroom. Maria and Norbert are nice and helpful.

  Mary is such an excellent hostess with sincere loyalty to her guest and has a wealth of knowledge to guide us where ever we wanted to go. The breakfast room was a nice way to start the day with smiling faces and good conversation. Mary's B&B is nicely located to downtown and we enjoyed the 10 minute walk to the shops and pubs. - The location ... what people say » was excellent and the main reason for chosing this establishment - easy walking to Galway centre and pubs/restaurants. Parking on site was possible but tight. Room was small but typical of this area. Owners were friendly - offerred us a free G&T when observed us to be a little stressed on arrival. Breakfast good.

  Absolutely everything! I am a travel agent in Ireland, so I know what to expect and was not expecting a lot from a hostel. However, the reviews looked good and price was great. I was so impressed by the staff, the provision of towels, the location and most of all by the apartment that we stayed in. Had great location and they even let us check out... what people say » late as they didn't have a booking the next day. - All the staff is very kind and efficient. In Sleepzone, they can show you what to do in the city, recommend restaurants and pubs and sell you guided tours to other places nearby Galway. Besides, the common areas are very clean and organized, specially the kitchen. A very simple breakfast (bread, jam and juice/coffee) is included, but it was more than enough for us.
