  The Sunrise Lodge B&B was so fantastic. It exceeded all of our expectations. Paeder and his wife were so wonderful! The room was cozy and extremely comfortable. The powerful shower was especially wonderful after traveling for close to 36 hours. In the morning, breakfast was delicious and aesthetically pleasing with a lovely formal place settin... what people say » g. I can't say enough good things about the Sunrise Lodge B&B! Paeder really made it wonderful. He even looked up directions and drew us a map to - The service, facilities and breakfast were marvellous and the location on Galway Bay and walking distance to Galway City shops and restaurants was perfect. I mistakenly left an item of clothing in the cupboard and the proprietors were kind enough to parcel it up and post it at their expense (which I could not in all fairness accept) speedily to us in Australia.

The room was comfortable, light and homely with a view of the lovely garden. It's on the outskirts of Galway so access to both the city and the mountains is really straight forward. I'd definitely go back.

  Mary is such an excellent hostess with sincere loyalty to her guest and has a wealth of knowledge to guide us where ever we wanted to go. The breakfast room was a nice way to start the day with smiling faces and good conversation.   Mary was a wonderful host. Greeted us with open arms as soon a we walked in the door. She told us everything we needed to know about the area from where to catch the bus to the best places to eat & drink. She also made us a delicious irish breakfast in the morning. She saved us time and money by having a bus to the aran islands pick us up clos... what people say » er to her place, and was just constantly helpful. Our room was the perfect size with a small bathroom, perfect for a short stay. The area and place it - Trieste is a wonderful place to stay at if you are visiting Galway. Mary makes the best scrabbled eggs i've had in my life. The breakfast is big and you will not complain over it. Too good! The room was good. Me and my friend had a double room with separate beds it was great and very cosy. The host Mary was very helpful and friendly. Had Wi-Fi. Hurray! Great paintings around in the house. Me and friend loved this place! Thank you Mary! :)

It's located just 5-10mins walk from Eyre Sq, just the right distance for a nice evening stroll after dinner, and far enough away from the hustle and bustle to not hear any city commotion! They allowed us to check in early, and to leave our luggage there for the day, after we checked out which was really sweet! I would definitely recommend this guesthouse, and will be going back again next year!
