There is also plenty of free on-site parking. A shopping centre next door includes New Look and Next brands. There is also a sports facility to practice a variety of sports disciplines. There are many festivals or events in Galway, particularly from June through to September. The Galway Arts Festival, Races and Oyster festival are the most popular events.

I found every member of staff that we came in contact with to be very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely and the whole atmosphere was very pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Clybaun. Thank You. the hotel is up to date, its clean and tidy. the staff are good at their job and are friendly. the hotel has good parking facilities. very pleased with our stay.

Would have been nice if the hottub was open till later...a bit too far out. hotel is on its own in a housing estate and needed to get taxis everywhere. Slight odour in corridors (possibly carpet cleaning agent), but everything else about this hotel was excellent.No WiFi in rooms. No but it would be great to have an area to put the kids when having a meal. A little bit out of the way for Galway town. Selection for breakfast could have been better.Not enough pillows. The bar clientelle. Resturant Staff at Dinner,. The tv in our room did not work although this was not an issue as we were just staying one night. I don't think the tv should be located above the kettle as I am sure steam from the kettle would damage the tv.It was hard to find. One of the outer blankets was quite grubby. The room wasn't serviced because we didn't put out the sign. We didn't know we had to. Not having control over the heating during the night - it got very hot and was necessary to sleep with the windows open.Hotel a bit hard to find from directions. the beds were firm and gave me back trouble for a day. Overall Good Quality Hotel at a great price. misleading information about location. slight fustiness about the room. My only complaint is that I was overcharged fofor breakfast I was charged for three instead of two, this came up on my credit card on my return.had difficulty finding it the night we arrived. One morning they failed to make my wake-up call. But overall very nice. The smell of stale cigarette smoke in our "non smoking" room was a dissapointment.The service in the bar area was very slow for food.. in fairness to the staff on duty they were very good .. just didn't seem to have enough staff on. very bad smell of smoke in the room even though non smoking was requested. Just i felt the hotel was overpriced but i understand that it was the weekend of the Galway races so all the hotels prices were pushed up. It was quite warm in the room and the windows didn't open very far for fresh air.i had a wheelchair with me and i found it very difficult toget out of the room as the door would not stay open. The advert said it was in salthill assumed to be in centre of salthill not a €10 taxi fare each way.We should have been informed when we were booking that there were a big group of travellers staying in the hotel.
