I have to give Amber Bay 10 out of 10 for everything. Rooms really clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Service brilliant. Price just right. Staff were really helpful and knowledgeable with advice about the Galway area. Will be staying again when I'm back in Galway. The Amber Bay was very clean and conformable. The extras such as internet access, free phone access, bottled water and the view made for very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is too far out of town, perfect if you have a car, but if notlike us then the distance can be a pain. I asked about oatmeal, and they seemed to have none - or perhaps she didn't understand what I was asking about?. Expensive enough for b and b. No hot water to shower Sat. evening-seems to be a repeated theme in web reviews- do they not read them..? Bathroom is cramped. Overpriced- its only a comfy BandB not a hotel. Should make people aware of very limited parking facilities-it is pot luck with other BandB's competing for same space-. Based on information from the website this accommodation is much closer to city centre. It would be helpful to know for those who don`t drive - like me - that it's almost in Barna. I got misleading guidance from a member of the staff on bus-services. I wasn't satisfied with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The place is very much overpriced. The carpet had not been hoovered in a long while, it was noisey with the dog and parot. Location was much further than I thought to the centre.
