The fact that Theresa contacted me via email to thank me for the booking and provide me with directions to the B&B. They were much better than the ones on google maps and were very clear and consise. We had no trouble finding it. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. When we were shown to our room we were asked if we would like a cup of tea or coffee. We replied that we could make it in our room and Theresa went and got us a plate of biscuits and a jug of fresh milk. The breakfast was fa.
all reviews » Absolutely beautiful B&B and Teresa & Michael make you feel like your part of the family as soon as you arrive. Very comfortable B&B and very relaxing. Gardens are outstanding which were an added bonus as my partner is a gardening fanatic. Michael happily showed off his garden and gave us lots of tips (new microwave will be purchased Michael!! :) )Teresa you make the most outstanding breakfast it kept us going till early evening. Thank you both so much for your hospitality we wil. Everything, the couple were so welcoming & hospitable. We were attending a wedding 4 mile away and they drove us to it. The breakfast was also lovely and the next day when we enquired about a taxi number to take us to the train station, they didn't hesitate to instead drive us over. A lovely B&B and very deserving of the high rating. Thanks for everything. 10/10. The owners were very friendly with a wonderful greeting. The host was so helpful to carry up our bags. My friend cannot climb stairs well so he helped with her needs. They went out of their way to get us directions to Dublin airport and assure us of a good return trip. They went the extra step to send us directions before we left us which was extremely helpful. Liked absolutely everything. The way the Owners run their business is a model that others should follow. Without doubt, this was the best accommodation of it's type we have ever stayed in - and that stretches back over 30 years. So friendly, so accommodating, I cannot recommend this highly enough. 7 of my family stayed in the B & B and it was such a lovely welcome home, we were very well catered for. Handy location as 2mins from motorway, too far to walk into town centre but only a 5mins drive. My wife and I were able to relax in the sitting room with a warm fire and enjoy some television in a wonderfully warm room. Our room was very comfortable and the owners were delightful people who took a real interest in us. When we arrived there was a fire going in the lounge - great welcome on a cold Spring day. Teresa is a very attentive host. She has a lovely way of presenting breakfast items. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Very friendly owners, couldn't fault them. Lovely people and would stay again for sure if I am ever looking for a room in the area again. Easy to find and superb location for getting about using the motorway.
