The hotel was in an excellant position for croke park as well as the shopping centre minuets walk. the room was spacious and clean a safe in use at know extra cost would recommend. will use again staff were very helpful an extra star for the staff. Comfortable and well presented room in a relatively new hotel. The location was excellent (quite central). The combination of both and the price represented really good value for Dublin and I would be very happy to stay in the Belvedere again.all reviews »
Dispite having room 40 next to the bar, there was no noise at all. We were impressed with the clean room. Beds were very comfortable. Location was very good, only 5 to 10 minute walk from O'Connell. Would stay here again on a next visit. The staff at the hotel were great, very friendly and efficient, we wereextremely happy all round. Would use the hotel again. the hotel was close to the city centre, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were very comfortable. Spacious room, great comfort.location to central dublin. Beds were very comfortable we had a good nights sleep. Location was good near everything, and staff were very pleasant.Good location, good staff, good bar and food. the food was very good value for money. Was handy for croake park. staff were very helpful. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious, staff very kind. Perfect position (at the end of O Connel Street, 15 minutes to Temple bar on foot). Very helpful morning staff, good location, 15 minutes to city center, we found staff more than willing to go out of their way.Good position, near the center and not too far from the airport. Rich breakfast buffet. Good price. Good Location , rooms are quite clean, good price / quality ratio. Staff really friendly. Staff were all very approachable and the room was very quiet. Very central location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were beyond expectation. The staff was really nice and the location is good. Service was good and staff were very helpful.Comfortable bed, nice shower. good food in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Good location (just round the corner of the upper o'connel street). Theroom was quite big with all the necessary equipment and comfort neededfor a perfect week-end in Dublin. Staff was very helpful. Nice Hotel and good location close to the city, but not with the downsides of noise of the city centre. Good combination of price, comfort and location. Location, services, size of room and the restaurant and bar, with great quality meals at reasonable prices. The room was nice as was the bar/resteraunt. Clean room, access to internet. easy access to town centre. Large Clean and Tidy Room. the front desk staff were excelent very helpfull in every way. the rooms were clean and spacious. The restaurant attached had great food.close to town. Great building with excellent potential, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Morning clerk kindly allowed us to check in very early to sleep. The location was ideal and the staff were pleasant. Large room/comfy beds. Great central location. It was just a short walk to the city center. The room was spacious.easy access to the hotel, very central. drinks reasonably priced and food good and not too expensive. location. The complimentary breakfast, although this was due to having to hav single beds, although we had booked a double room. The hotel was overbooked. The hotel was accurate in the description of the location from the main thoroughare in Dublin. so close to o connell street. nice and central. Breakfast options where not appealing and seemed expensive. We didnt take the hotel breakfast as we thought it was too expensive. A minor point, but I booked this hotel because it had internet connection but I discovered not in all rooms. I'm back next week and have requested an appropriate room.Well in all my life I never stayed in a hotel and had to drink fromplastic cups in a hotel before, not really anything for kids to do. shower didn't work in the first room we checked into and we had to be moved. Our toilets were blocked on the second day, we told morning reception but they were not fixed that day and they couldn't move us to another room so we had to use the reception toilets which were inconvienient. However when booking out we recieved a good apology and a massive discount from our hotel bill. Really minor problems: no shampoo is provided but only shower gel and the bath was a bit cold. The little things as in TV remote not working, poor cable reception. There was some noise from outside traffic and other visitors until 3 am but perhaps this is Dublin!. No residents bar. The continental breakfast was sparse, the choice of spreads quite poor. Our room was adjacent to a central heater or the like and was quite noisy during the night despite being well away from the noise of the bar, restaurant and other guests.Room service was a bit hit and miss and there was no way of knowing how to contact reception on the telephone. Traffic noise. It would help if there was wireless available in the rooms. They advertise as having WiFi but it's only in the reception area, which is very misleading.Be aware the hotel apply a ghost charge to the card you booked with - without telling you. this happened on the Friday when we didn't check inuntil the Saturday - we were not informed about this at all. When i rang to query it the receptionist was incredibly rude. The hotel is a lot further to amenities than what was stated on the website. No fruit salad option for breakfast, No Toiletries, soap dispenser very dirricult to use, no times for meals or local information given. Hotel needs restoration to landmark condition (looks a bit shabby), bathroom had dried unidentified matter on wall, shower curtain and soap dispenser. Street at bar closing can be noisy for an extended period of time. The only problem I had with the hotel was that the internet advertised to be available in the room was not. They did not have any ethernet cables which were needed to access the internet, They did however provide free wi-fi in the lobby. However I feel that if they advertised this internet that it should have been available and therefore should have had enough ethernet cables in the hotel. We were above an EXTREMELY noisy nightclub and bar. We were not given any warning about it. It was only on the Saturday night but I am sure it would have been loud on a Friday too, if we had stayed on the friday. The bed was uncomfortable. The second night we stayed the key wouldn't work in the door and had to go back down to reception to fix it. It was too loud at night. There wasn't enough staff for all the people who needed help in the morning time frame. I would suggest at most 3 people instead of 2.Room for a double -room was very small, just one chair no table. Directions to the parking were terrible. bar and hallways needed cleaning and freshening up. breakfast was terrible. Unfortunately the location of the hotel was opposite a club and it was very noisey. We specifcally chose this hotel because of it's location from the main busy parts of Dublin but the club was very noisey until the early hours of the morning. The beds were very uncomfortable but the staff were very helpful in the hotel.no water in the bathroom ,cold shower when they fixed the boiler breakfast was cold didnt enoy our stay. not easy to find due to street changing names half way along and not showing on map. the noise from the aircon system and the creaky timber floors overhead.
