All the staff was not only professional but also friendly. The BandB is in a good position, which allows you to reach the city centre comfortably and in few time. Donnybrook was on in a beautiful setting by the a small stream and my teenage boys loved the huge breakfasts!!. Terry and staff were very helpful with info about Dublin. It would be nice a computer available for the guests. the young man who greeted us on arrival was a little too jovial in the sense that we were tired and did not appreciate his jokiness at the end of a long journey, but that may just be us!. The room was not too warm, I had to go through the garden before I was in the main building - I guess, I just had different expectations. It was a bit of a walk to the city center (25-30 minutes to St. Stephens) and while there was bus service and the hotel website clearly indicated that it was not a central location, I can see the advantages of being a bit closer in.Wanted cash payment, but later settled for credit card. The rooms were cold. We had no warm water for 2 days.service very slow at breakfast. Dining room too small. No hot water for the shower in the morning. I didn't like that my room was near the kitchen therefore it was very noisy and the smell of food was terrible after a while.The furniture was old fashioned and not made of good quality.
