Excellent location, excellent staff. The room was dated by American standards, but with a nice modern-looking bathroom lacking only an electrical outlet. Breakfast very good, served in the downstairs restaurant. After our first night at the hotel, a serious plumbing problem that apparently had been developing over many years, came to light. All other rooms were booked, so the management had to move us to a hotel nearby for the second night of our stay, and it was free of charge. All in all, a p.

Quite many steps to our room and no lift. Large nice room overlooking the Stephens Green -park. Perhaps a bit pricy but all in all a great place to stay. Great location, very comfortable with a fantastic sea food restaurant attached. Their cocktails were also Devine. Taxi had a little difficulty finding it, so just mention the square St Stephens Green and then you will see the hotel. The location was excellent, you felt as though you were in the heart of Dublin. The hotel was easy to find and staff friendly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and you were very much made welcome. A room on the top floor means you have to climb a significant number of steps carrying your luggage. Huge bed and a lot of furniture in a tiny room. But I think there are better rooms. I was just in one of the old servant quarters. I'm assuming the other rooms are better. Bathroom very small and not really up to standard. Lots of stairs to climb!. Lift does not access all rooms ended up climbing many stairs instead. No a/c: listed property. Not cheap. letsbookhotel.com booking ticket said there was free parking at this hotel. There clearly wasn't and I had to pay an extra €35.00 whether this is the hotels fault or letsbookhotel.com I don't know but as I had booked under those conditions the hotel should have refunded the fee or contributed to it at least. Very bad customer service experienced on check in. The room was cold, with poor heating. Bathtub was small in the room. room to small horrible view cheap coffee inroom. The smallest romm I've ever seen in my life. Old bathroom and pretty dirty. Wonderful view on the stairs!.
