  I was put in a room with hardly any wifi signal. I asked if I could have another room as I really needed Internet access and they were very helpful and accomodated my request. Breakfast included fresh fruits and other healthy stuff.   Jane, the hostess, is wonderful and helpful. The food is lovely. Our needs were met, but there was never a sense of intrusion on our privacy. Our son loved playing with Jane's two small, very friendly and well mannered dogs. Heather Lodge has a spectacular view. - Everything about Heather Lodge was fantastic. Jane, the owner, and her family are just incredible people. The lodge was simply great and the best experience was that checking in and out was based on trust. Of course breakfast was wonderful and the view of the lake from our family room a bonus. We will be happy to return the someday when we visit again.

  This apartment was a fantastic find! We go to Clifden a few times a year. We have found now with two kids we are very restricted in a hotel room, but its very expensive (and usually impossible) to get a holiday rental for less than a week. The apartment is spotlessly clean, modern, well decorated, central to everything in town and yet totally qu... what people say » iet.   I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with a pleasant staff. - Since I was only sleeping at the hotel, I didn't have an opportunity to try their breakfasts or use the bar. However, generally the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the one dinner I had was of good quality.

  We liked the location - very close to Clifden but far away enough for some peace and tranquility. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only regret was that as we were in Clifden for a concert we didnt have time to have dinner in the restaurant - it looked superb!   The best B&B we have stayed in on our 10 days trip through Ireland! By far! Sue and her husband have been fantastic hosts. Book early and try to get a room with a view to the sea if possible but even if you can't you cannot go wrong with this B&B. The rooms are nice and clean and comfortable, the breakfast is in a beautiful room from where... what people say » you can see the sea and breakfast itself was absolutely gorgeous (I am still dreaming of the pancakes ;-) ). From there it is only a 5min drive to Cl - We visit Clifden annually for the Connemara Pony Show and Sharamore House was the best B & B we have stayed in. Just minutes outside Clifden town it was in a beautiful setting, nice spacious bedrooms and the food was excellent, using home produced and local produce. Will definitely go there again.
