There was a warm welcome and friendly and helpful host throughout the trip. The guest house was immaculately clean. It was modern,but at the same time traditional and had a homely feel to it. There was a gorgeous view from the room. The bathroom facilities were fit for a princess, with clean towels and bath/shower products provided daily. all reviews » We fell in love with the Tides Guesthouse, they made us feel really welcome from the the moment we arrived, and when we left. Wanted to stay for another night, but for work we couldn't. We are planning to go back again in the summer time to them, and looking forward to my full Irish breakfast. Would recommend the tides guesthouse to anyone,young and old!. Everything...we were on a golf holiday for 2 weeks in Ireland and the Tides Guesthouse was our favorite...David is a member at Ballybunion and was a pleasure to meet and discuss golf with. Food was excellent, his home in great condition...would definitely stay there again. The staff (particularly David the owner) was terrific, knowledgeable & very helpful in coordinating our vacation plans. Also, they were extremely accommodating in adjusting reservations at various golf courses & local restaurants as unexpected events popped up. There is so much to say about the tides.from the lovely people that run it to the cleanliness and size of the room.the superb breakfeast and beautiful location we would strongly advise any one looking for b and b inthis area to check it out. We did not dislike any aspect of our stay at the Tides. a bit too far away from the town when with a small child and a highchair would have been great but still the owner did apologize for this. Nothing. Would like to have seen fruit salad on menu mornings for breakfast and porridge as a starter with hot meals to follow some confusion over same one of the mornings ! Would have liked a receipt for cash payment as their machine not working to take cards !. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing at all. I loved absolutely everything about The Tides. no lift for heavy luggage. The Tides is not across the golf course as the description leads you to believe. Nothing!. Nothing. Our room was a little cold at times. Nothing. All was good. Weak internet connection in room...being very picky.
