The hotel is located 2km away from Dublin Airport - easy to get there by taxi (about 9 euro), bus (2 euro, timetable is available on reception) or on foot (probably about 20 - 30 min. to go, didn't try it). Quite hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, nice smelling bedclothes and towels, good breakfast, affable staff, adequate price. I arrived at 1 p.m. - there was no problem with check - in. Perfect place to have a rest before next flight, I was absolutely satisfied.

Hotel only open three days when I stayed here paint still smelled fresh in the lobby! All facilites perfect stayed here before flying following morning. Would recommend for this purpose! The Lorcan B&B is superbly located between the airport and town, right on the bus line for easy access to downtown. The rooms are larger than most B&B rooms I have seen in Dublin, and are immaculately kept with en-suite bathrooms and very spacious showers. The accommodations were excellent. The rooms are small but well outfitted so we had everything we needed. The restaurant & bar had a nice selection and the service was good. We had two problems: our room was directly above the area used for smokers from the bar so the smoke was very heavy even with windows closed; the heat was blasting and drunken revelers ran up and down the hallway until 4:30 in the morning and we had no way to access management for assistance.
